Gloria to God:
Dear Almighty Father, what would You like to tell me this morning?
God:
You, also, lift up your heart to Me. Offer Me your heart so that it may be filled with joy.
A full heart on earth is like a good wife in the home. She creates harmony and is a settling point for the family.
Earth is your earthly home. Light will spring out of your heart to brighten the earth. As Karen has brightened your life, you will brighten others'.
You are shaking your head in disbelief. Shake it no longer. Nod it up and down. If you do My work on earth, it is inevitable that you will brighten life on earth.
I speak fact, not hyberbole. And in every hyberbolic metaphor I have given you, there is truth also or I would not give it.
And what I say to you applies to everyone who reads these words and to everyone who does not, for they are here for the same purpose as you, to learn love, to know Me, to spread My joy upon the earth.
To each has been given a unique map. Yet even in that uniqueness, all maps are the same.
Once a person has cleared himself of past debris, he rushes to Me, and I greet him with open arms and make him warm and welcome in the heart of the Kingdom of Heaven.
I have One Son, and his journey is one also. He has the key that opens Heaven. That key is his heart.
The human heart is a juncture point between love and mind, and it is a juncture point between Heaven and earth.
The heart is a milling ground where all wander and meet and find one another already enclosed in the love within his heart.
The mind is a walker. It is a stalker. It wanders and then it stalks a point of life, like a dog shaking a bone, finally leaves it, moves on to another point of life, and at last, the universe within.
Whatever a soul notices, it is more of itself to recognize.
Your mind is a tramp. It stops here and there, gets off one train, finds another, crosses back and forth over a wide terrain, has no desire to settle down until it finds Heaven.
The mind alights on Heaven and finds it was always in the heart, waiting to be found, waiting to be unlocked, waiting to be opened to the world. Open your place of Heaven to the world.
Let your heart sing of My love and let the sweet notes be carried by their power of love to the Heart of God in all.
A Course in Miracles, Lesson 335:
"I choose to see my brother's sinlessness. Forgiveness is a choice…What I see in him is merely what I wish to see because it stands for what I want to be the truth. It is to this alone that I respond, however much I seem to be impelled by outside happenings. [My brother's] holiness reminds me that he was created one with me and like myself. In him I find my Self, and in Your Son I find the memory of You as well."
God:
That is what I have been saying, dear. That is what Christ said. That is what all hearts yearn for to take the place of the game of opposites, this made-up game of war with oneself. They will choose Oneness once they put their toy soldiers away.
Gloria to Mother Divine:
Dear Mother Divine, what do you know of games of war?
Mother Divine:
I see humans fight one another, usurp sovreignty one over the other, and I see fighting within one's own self. Indecision, regret, argument — what are they but conflict, taking a sword to oneself.
It is so easy to throw away swords, pick up God's wand of light, and abandon conflict, opposing, and thwarted desires. There is one desire. It is God. There is one will. It is God's, and that same will resides in you. Acknowledge the Godness in your heart, and you have freedom.
Gloria:
Mother Divine, thank you, and I want to tell you that Lauren took me to lunch one day this week, invited me to go shopping with her in Ottumwa, asked if she could forward a selection of yours to a chat group friend of hers in San Francisco, and last night said she would come up to "tuck" me in! She thinks I'm easier, but I see that she is. I suppose it is too much to expect that everything is hunky-dory now, but right now it feels that way.
Mother Divine:
It is not too much to expect at all. But do not expect because that imprisons. There is no need to expect. Just let it roll. Expecting is limiting the freedom of life. Expecting is making foregone conclusions, and foregone conclusions open you up to disappointment. Let life be.
Life is a kite. Let it go its way. Maybe it does go in the direction you think is right all by itself. Or maybe it knows where it should fly more than you do. Let the kite of life be free and don't order it.

Gloria to God:
Dearest God, I'm not sure I'm meant to do physical healings on people. I'm not even sure I like the word healings. It seems unreal to me or a term that's used so much I don't even know what it means.
God:
You are meant to do whatever you are called on to do. I wonder why you feel you have to fight this.
Gloria:
God, maybe it's the responsibility. Maybe I want to live in a fairytale world where I write what You say, and I don't have to do anything.
God:
Perhaps you are afraid of change, any change. Perhaps what you can do has leaped ahead of your frozen picture of what you can do. Perhaps you need to expand your picture.
You will write and you will help people anyway you can, and a time will come when you will wonder how you could have thought you were busy now.
Gloria:
Oh.
God:
You will be able to do whatever you are called on to do whether you are comfortable with it or not, so you might as well decide to be comfortable.
Gloria to Mother Divine:
Okay. Now dear Mother Divine, what would you like to tell me?
Mother Divine:
Do your meditation now, and don't worry about anything. You don't even have to think about anything. With all the blessings comes responsibility, but responsibility is nothing but what you want. The blessing is the responsibility. We need another word for responsibility for you. What shall we call it? Natural outcome. Next step. Using the blessing. Practice. Privilege. Yes, let us call what you have before you as privilege. It is a privilege to work for God. There is no one better. There is no one else. You are privileged.
Let's call responsibility your reward.
