Where will your mind take you today? What fantasy would you like to play out? What kind of movie would you like to see? What kind of play do you want to star in?
You are not only the audience. You are the play on the stage itself, and you play all the parts. There is not one scene that is not your conjecture. It is not only that life pursues you. You run after it. You run to meet your destiny. There is no hiding from it. You have caught yourself. Even when you run ahead, you still are in the grips of your design.
To you, life often feels unbelievable. Beloveds, life on Earth is unbelievable, yet, still, you believe in it. You take worldly life to be all of it, as if there is nothing else but this wild scenario on center stage. In one sense, what is going on right now is all there is. In another sense, what is going on now is nothing at all, simply a slide show to idle away the hours of illusory time. .
A spotlight shines on you. This spotlight is your attention. It follows you, and it leads you. The light of your attention goes where you go, and you also follow the spotlight. There is a union between you.
There also is a vaster Sun that shines. You absorb its light, and you can give greater credence to it. There is a North Star in the night sky that upholds you. The sun by day and stars and moon by night are your lode stars. The love that comes from Me is full-blown in the luminaries of the day and the night. The stars pick you out in a crowd. Their illumination is far greater than any spotlight of thought you put on yourself. Is that clear?
And you are a luminary of Earth. That is why it is so easy for the Sun and Night Lights to spot you and shine on you. The attention you put on yourself cannot compare to the attention the Spectacular Lights above put on you. This is the light show of the Universe.
These Great Lights attract you, beloveds, and you attract them. They are in the sky to attract you. They spill their light into your heart, and so your heart radiates the light of the Great Sun. And so you are sunlight and moonlight and starlight on Earth. You are a beautiful Light Show. You should see the spectacular light that radiates on Earth so that all in Heaven can say:
“Ahhh, how beautiful, how beautiful the Heaven Light that shines from Earth.”
Radiate the spectacular light on Earth so that all in Heaven can say:
“See how the light moves, and how interconnected it is. See the élan. Note the rhythm of the intertwining Light Show. It tap dances, it waltzes, and it tangos. It does somersaults. It is a Spectacular Light Show!
“How strange it seems to us in Heaven that crowds on Earth will come out to watch fireworks and pass by the Heavenly Luminaries that shine regularly.. How stranger still that the Beings on Earth seemingly do not see their own light so brightly displayed. To us, if we understood the concept of tragedy, this would be the tragedy you on Earth oblige -- not grasping the light that you are. Grasp it now, people on Earth.
“God does not speak to you for nothing. He has great purpose in mind. God is not trying to light you up. He would have you recognize your own light that is shining in your heart right now.”
