Admit. You hardly have a clue to what life is about. It is truly a mystery to you.
Every now and then you feel you have a grasp of it, and then the rug is pulled out from under you, and you are bewildered.
You seek to know the meaning of life, and yet the meaning slips and slides away from you. Just when you think you have it, it flies away.
You are the meaning, beloveds. It is yourself that you seek. It is yourself that is elusive. You catch glimpses and cannot quite see enough. You dance before yourself, and you dodge yourself.
When it gets too hard to ponder the meaning of life, then just think of Me a little bit. I will bring you back to front center. I may seem vague to you, yet I am a great consolidator. As I occur to you, you will feel an ease, a settling down. Without understanding, you will understand. Unknowing, you will know. You will feel a balance that you often don't feel unless you are thinking of Me. I am like a tethering pole. Tether yourself to Me.
Look into My eyes, beloveds, and you will see yourself. You are not quite the offshoot you have thought you were. You are the main attraction! You are what life is about.
All in the Universe is your backdrop. All is for you. Animals steady the Earth for you. They call your attention to love. Flowers bloom for you to remind you of beauty and the inimitable force of life. Even difficulties that confront you teach you your strength and your capacity to delve into life. You are like a hungry traveler. You are hungry for life, beloveds. Sometimes life seems like too much for you, but the thing is that you cannot get enough. A taste is not enough. You want the whole meal.
You may rant and rave about life on Earth at the same time as you love it. You do know it is a great feast. The table has been set for you, and all you have to do is to sit down and taste the tidbits and the sweetmeats. Certainly, you are here to sample the wares. Your appetite is insatiable, beloveds.
You are an explorer of life in the world and in the spirit. You may feel that an impossible task has been set before you. Beloveds, a possible task has been set before you. I will tell you this: You are the one who sets the table. You choose the menu even when you don't think so. You cook the food, and you bring it out. It is you who serves the portions, and it is you who eats. And it is you who cleans up and puts the chairs back. It is you, beloveds. It is all you.
You are the tour guide, and you are the pacesetter.
You twirl the baton, and you are the whirling dervish. The world turns, and you revolve, and the world revolves around you as well.
No wonder you are puzzled. Life is a puzzler. It is for you to solve, even while there is nothing to solve. It's just that you have this question mark in your head. That's fine. No problem. If life were not the mystery to you that it is, you would not enjoy it so much. This is true. Even when you think you are not enjoying life at all, you are relishing it. I think you know what I mean. I think you are well-acquainted with the irresistible joy of life. I hear you now as you beat the drums. I see you now as you admire life on Earth.
