You are entering a world of Vastness. What seemed big isn't big any longer. You have been venturing forth into Vastness and so losing the smallness that had gathered around you. Vastness expands, and littleness contracts. Your eyes are widening, and your ego is losing the little piques it causes your heart. Smallness is becoming a thing of the past. You won't even remember smallness, smallness was so small.
As your vision expands, it will seem to you that you knew Vastness always, yet had deluded yourself from it. The Vastness was so vast and so beautiful that you almost couldn't bear it. The light was so bright you felt you had to shield your eyes from it, and, so, you didn't see all that there was to see. You found the possibility overwhelming, even disconcerting. You thought it was something to be concerned about.
It is like this: It was like being in shade and then bursting through into the brightest brightness of the sun, and you had to run to get sunglasses. You could still see with the sunglasses, yet you couldn't quite see the brightness as it truly was. And the colors you saw were not exactly the colors that actually were. And, My beloveds, you became accustomed to the sun glasses. You felt a little lost without your shades.
You felt taken aback when you took off your sunglasses, for nothing was quite the same, and you felt a little disconcerted. It is not like a chair was pulled out from under you, yet there was something of that. Boom. Nothing was quite as it should be when, in reality, everything was just as it should be, rather, everything was just as it really is.
It was like you used to eat frozen blueberries thawed, and now you have the freshest bluest blueberries with the sweetest most delicious cream, so sweet, so delicious that you can't quite believe that it is really you sitting there with a spoon, dipping your spoon into the blueberries and cream, tasting them, swallowing them, feeling them go down so smoothly, so seamlessly, as if it were too good to be true.
Previously you had met with that which was not good enough to be true. True is very good indeed.
It was like you entered a most beautiful valuable painting. You were in it! You wonder how you got there, how long you could stay. You wonder what it is all about and if you will ever get used to such a landscape you find yourself in, and how is all the ordinary left behind getting along without you.
You are entering other dimensions, and yet you feel a little cardboardlike as if you were, perhaps, not dimensional at all.
You don't hear the clock ticking so much any more.
It's like you are a little startled because your legs had grown longer.
What is happening is that more of your ego is getting out of the way. There is less of your taking things personally. You still have your heart, yet you don't take everything so to heart. There is an impartiality. There is a letting go. There is something where the relative life isn't so determinant any longer. It's not that you don't care, yet you are not bothered so much. It is more like life is water that rolls off your back.
There is not so much to-do about anything, pro or con. Your happiness is more consistent. The top is not so high. The low is not so low.
Beloveds, like it or not, you are gaining in evenness. You are not so ruffled. You are not so outraged. Life does not quite have the importance it used to. It is not that you control yourself. It is just that you are more steady, more constant, more okay with life as it reaches you. It does not affect you so much.
Life is not dull, yet you are more at ease with life. Life is not so troublesome. It is not so ecstatic as before either.
It is not really life that has changed. You have changed. Your perception has changed. You are more at home with life even as you are trying to adjust to the unchanging field of yourself beneath the change.
