God is always bringing us closer to Him.

God said:

How to be honest and harmonious is one of the dichotomies you face.
You must be honest, and you must be harmonious. In the world, this feels like a Herculean task, even impossible, and yet, when you are caring, you come to this crossroad, perhaps every day.

Sometimes you have put honesty first and offended someone's heart and therefore your own. Sometimes you have put harmony first and offended your own heart and the spirit of the other to whom you were not truthful.

With money, it is a given that you give correct change. Never do you take advantage of another. Nor do you take advantage of yourself. So, when We speak of honesty of exchange with other Human Beings, you give exact change in that you reveal yourself. You cannot do otherwise without exacting a high price of all concerned. Feelings are not hidden, beloveds. They will show themselves. Better now than in resentment later.

Certainly there are some things you do well to keep to yourself. You may not like your friend's new shoes, and you don't have to say so. The shoes are bought. Your friend is wearing them. It doesn't matter at all. The shoes will lose their glitter and wear out soon enough anyway. Everything isn't important, yet some things are. And you are the one who is the
determiner of what to speak up about and when to keep silent.

Come from a different place, and then words will come easily. What is so hard about acknowledging how you feel?

Beloveds, you can't favor everything. So then, why would it be hard for you to say: "This, and not that". What does this and that have to do with love between two hearts? You love each other. Who said you have to have the same tastes in everything -- or anything? What is so queasy to you about revealing your proclivities? It is nothing at all. It's only that you have made it big. Perhaps from somewhere you have the idea that disagreement cannot belong in friendship or in love. Perhaps you feel you dishonor your friend if you disagree. Perhaps you have the idea that if you disagree, you will be disowned. Perhaps you have the idea that you have to swallow your words and pay the price. Even when life has taught you that that doesn't work, you may adhere to it.

Beloveds, there are times you have to speak. The longer you don't, the harder it is, and the more you have to.

Know that you are following My advice.

Be matter of fact. Take away the emotion. Take away your emotion.
Honor your friend with how you see. You cannot spend your life in subterfuge. Say Yes as much as possible. Say No as little as possible. Do not postpone what has to be said.

The way to swim in cold water is to dive in.
