You are living in a body. You may see that as not much of a tribute. You may see yourself as stuck in a body, and not see much promise in yourself, and, yet, you are My promise. You are the promise I made to Myself.
Where do beautiful flowers come from, beloveds? They arise from dirt. They peek their heads out of the rich soil from which they come. Roses come from the soil. Carnations do. Amaryllis do. Tell Me, beloveds, what beautific flower does not come from the soil of Earth?
No matter your opinion of yourself, greatness can issue from a seeming mere body. Greatness has. Greatness does. You have seen it. You have felt it. Certainly, more goes on in life than the functions of the body.
There is more going on in the mind than intellect. No matter whose mind, there is more going on than mental activity. Great thought reaches beyond the mind. Of course, it does. The mind cannot even conceive its own greatness.
And, ah, yes, there is the heart, the beautiful heart that thumps in your chest. This is the most beautiful rose of all. And yet there is more than the heart, no matter how it distinguishes itself. The heart reaches beyond the mind, and the heart reaches beyond itself. That is the blessed secret of the heart. It flies far. It reaches high.
And then there is this We call soul. Heart and soul are words often said together. There is also something called Over Soul. The soul overrides everything. Silent, unseen, it is a mighty mist that rises.
I say your heart is Mine. I say you are Mine, heart and soul. Certainly, you are Mine. We don't have to delve into that, for Wholeness isn't something we want to take apart. You know Our Oneness better without analysis of it.
From My children of the soil comes amazing poetry, poetry which is like the nectar of the Gods. And there is more. Imagine, from My children of the soil comes love which issues from the rose of your heart, My heart. What music comes from My children! What art! What beauty this is that transcends far beyond what is commonly seen as human existence.
Acts of courage spring up from seeming bodies. From the same soil comes bravery and cowardice. There isn't anything that cannot come from the soil, beloveds, from the rich soil of you.
You came to Earth seeded, beloveds. You might well name the seeds DNA. You might call the seeds talents. There is not one of you who is not a garden ready to bloom. Beloveds, you have all inherited Me.
It is given that you are not yet aware of all that you have inherited. You have perhaps seen a thimbleful.
I created you, beloveds. I created you and sent you off on the journey of a lifetime. I sent you off as My reward to Myself. I wanted to do something good and beautiful. I planted seeds of love in the world so I could watch them grow and spread over what some might call a desert. Where there is dry land, it is for you to make oases so that all may go to the well to drink. Where there are no flowers, it is for you to plant them so that all may see. Where there may be dryness of heart, it is for you to restore all other hearts with yours.
I gave you a garden to play in, beloveds. Play nicely with your friends. And remember to share. It is really a natural thing to share. That's what your heart is for, and that's what your heart likes to do, and, from your heart, others also know My blessings.
