Hello dear everyone,
A few days ago I was on my way home from the city where I work ( Groningen in the Netherlands) to the city where I live ( Heerenveen).
I travel by bus, it takes about an hour, so lots of time to listen to good music, do some meditation or just take a nap. At around 18.00 I arrived in Heerenveen and I suddenly realised that it was the birthday of my wife and I wanted to buy her something. Shops are open until 19.00 so I had to hurry. I went to a shop where you can buy chocolate (she just loves that) and also flowers. The flowers you have to pack yourself, beautiful packpaper available. I don't know whether it has to do with being a man, but I never seem to be able to pack presents the way the ladies working in the shops can do it. So I stood there having a hard time trying to get a nice piece of paper from the roll, but I just could not get it past the papercutter. I gave up, turned around for a second, someone was passing by in another second, and in the third second when I looked at the paperroll again, a perfect piece of paper had miraculously succeeded to pass the papercutter and all that was left for me to do was tearing it loose. I still don't know how, but I noticed this " little " very practical miracle in great relief and gratitude, packed the flowers and the box of chocolates and hurried home, to my wife's birthday !!!
I just love these very practical every day life miracles.
By the way, the chocolates were made of organically grown ingredients and the flowers had the trade mark of Fair Trade ( locally grown somewhere on the globe, with an honest price for the local grower of the flowers)
