God said:

When you want love so much, what prevents you from it? What exactly do you think you give away when you unabashedly love? What return is it you must exact before you dare unleash your heart?

You would like Cupid to shoot an arrow into your heart, and then, when Cupid does, you feel wounded. Beloveds, an arrow of love is supposed to go through your heart. That is what your heart is for.

Beloveds, I am pointing out how discontent you are with yourself.
Sometimes you place impossible demands upon yourself. You remind Me of the king in fairy tales who sets impossible tasks before the young man who wants to marry the beautiful princess. You are the king who thwarts the youth, in this case, yourself. You are the one who lashes himself to go faster, do better, break records. You are the one who keeps raising the odds. You are the one who whips his thigh and says: "Faster, faster. Better, better."

You are the one who, when Cupid shoots his arrow, questions the love in your heart, or you question the merit of it, the direction of it, the outcome of it. Consider the love that beats in your heart as the outcome.
The pulsing of love in your heart right now is the success. What more can you want than love taking hold of your heart?

This is your heart We are talking about. Allow your own heart to be a Valentine. Let your heart be Cupid and send out arrows. Let the arrows of love fall where they may. Let your heart be glad that you have mercifully been given the privilege to love. The import of love is that you love. The consequence of your loving is of no consequence. You are not meant to love for a particular return. Return is variable. What kind of love is that that sets up a price? A price is a condition, and conditions are barriers, and love by its nature breaks through barriers. That is what is so wonderful about love. Appoint the love in your heart to be the king. Cease making your mind the accountant of your heart to keep records of it in a ledger with a column marked debit.

Know love as an asset. There is no cost to love. There is no price to exact. Consider love outgo rather than income.

Loving is not meant to be a hard task. Love is the easiest thing in the world when you let your heart be free. Free your heart from all the restrictions you have placed around it. Be glad when your heart loves. Let the object of your love be imperfect. The perfection of love is love itself.

Love is like a river, and it is not for you to dam it up.

Make Valentine's Day last a lifetime. Make up your mind that your heart is good and that it is good to give it. When all is said and done, beloveds, what can you do but love and love and love?
