To hear a word from Me is a supreme blessing, and it is a blessing you give to yourself. I certainly do not keep you back from hearing Me. I do not make Myself illusive. I do not sit on a cloud or a mountain somewhere trying to make a great Mystique of Myself. I do not make Myself difficult to approach. I do not make you qualify before you can hear Me. I do not give you tests. I do not flunk a certain percentage to make it come out a preconceived way. Not at all.
Or, if you want to say that I weight the dice, well, then, I weight them in your favor. I preconceive that you will hear Me. I sit down right beside you. I speak. I call your name. I whistle. I dance a jig. I tap you on your shoulder. I say, "Wait a second. Be still and hear Me. Hear My voice above all the throng."
You may be too preoccupied to hear Me. Your mind may be so filled with static that you can't hear Me. Or perhaps you are simply chattering so much, your wayward thoughts drown out My purposeful ones. Beloveds, many times you have turned a deaf ear to Me.
This is not to chasten you. This is not to develop one iota of guilt in you. This is to wake you up so you will pause a moment to hear Me. I shake your shoulder so you will pause a moment to hear even an echo of My love for you. It's okay if you don't hear My words right now. It's okay. The day will come. But right now, have even a dollop of My love. Have a cognition of My love landing on your forehead like a snowflake, or like a tiny jab in your heart.
Bend your ear to Me. Lean into My love. Close your eyes a moment and feel My arms around you. Sense My eyes looking at you with love such as you have never consciously seen before. Sense your eyes looking into Mine. Sense My eyes looking into yours, and do not leave My gaze. Sense a greater sense of yourself emerging through My eyes.
What more is there, My beloveds? Heap all the treasures of the world up in one place, and they do not equal the one treasure of My gaze upon you. I do not tell you to throw away the treasures of the world. I tell you to add Me to the top of the pile. It is not that I need your attention on Me. No, it is you who needs your attention on My love. How will you know you have all My love until you pay attention? You have it, all My love, only you haven't been paying attention. You haven't even noticed.
It does not take daring to look at Me. You do not have to cover your eyes. You have to uncover your eyes. Being humble does not mean that you do not look into My eyes. Being humble is looking into My eyes. This is the obedience that is spoken of. This obedience is not in the following of rules. It is in following My heart and acknowledging that it is yours.
Become familiar with My heart. Come, see it through My eyes and the reflection in yours. Soon enough, you won't know whose eyes you are looking through, yours or Mine. Soon enough, you won't know whose voice you hear, yours or Mine.
