Dear Ana,
We're so happy you're going to keep on translating -- now that you've completed your move from Florida to Rio! Hope you will tell us all about your move. From everything I've heard, Rio is a fabulous place.
You asked for a review of how to send translations. Here it is:
Please use plain text.
Heaven #xxxx - Translated Title
No comments or dates please. Please get the numbering correct. #2242 for example. Notice there are no spaces. The number is preceded by this # symbol. The title is preceded by a - symbol.
In the body of the email all we want is the translated Heavenletter content. No "God said" or "Translated by". The site will automatically put in the "Translated by" information based on who sends in the translation.
The name Heavenletters™ stays Heaven in all languages. Not to be translated. We want the name Heavenletters™ to be recognized all over the world the way Coca Cola is!
The special email address you send your translations to is: pt [at] heavenletters [dot] org
Will you also kindly cc your translation to me? I ask because it lets me you know you translated. That makes me feel good, and also gives me an opportunity to thank you.
Do we already have the top and bottom templates of Heavenletters translated into Portuguese?
Kindly post your translations on the forum as well.
When you have questions, please post them here on the Global Translators Circle. Please don’t hesitate. Someone will respond. Other translators, Heaven Admin or I.
We want to do everything we can to make your translating smooth and easy for you. Tell us anything we can do to be helpful to you.
To all other translators, if I've left anything out, will you add it here, please?
Ana, you asked if I have moved to Argentina yet. Not yet! It is still in the planning. If we go anywhere near Rio, we will be sure to meet you! and hopefully all the subscribers to your translations in Brazil.
Thank you for your generosity in translating. Translating is a beautiful gift and will last forever.
With love and blessings,
Gloria
