Ruth to God:
Dear God, I was re-reading Your message to me about David, and there is one word in it that disturbs me and I wonder whether I am misinterpreting it. "No matter how UNTIMELY his life is" Could You be hinting that David will die young? I hardly dare ask You. It seems presumptuous.
Many years ago a Native American shaman said this about David, and so it came back to me now. Anyway, although it scares me, if this is what is ordained, then I have to accept that David will go back to God in his own way.
God to Ruth:
By untimely here I refer to the inappropriateness of your son's behavior at this time. Inappropriate as looked at by most of the world.
There is another important point here, My darling daughter Ruth, and that is how your fear got pinned on Me. Fear wants to manifest itself, inside and outside. That is how fear works. So much for fear.
Furthermore, no mortal has the ability to know of the hour of another mortal's death, and certainly not the responsibility or right to announce it even if he thinks he knows. That is an untimely thing to do. No shaman, no fortune-teller, no numerologist, no astrologer knows when, and if they think they do, they would do better to keep it to themselves.
Even if it could be known, what benefit would come from knowing the time of your death? You might spend your whole life just getting ready for it, thinking about it, avoiding it, or meeting it, or hastening it.
You all are aware that death to the body will come.
Gloria:
What about a doctor?
God:
He does not know.
Gloria:
But if someone has a fatal illness, shouldn't he tell them?
God:
He can make the supposed nature of the illness known.
People have lived lifetimes longer than a doctor predicted, and some have lived much less. You know that. There is nothing certain about the time of death one way or the other.
Gloria:
Many years ago someone told me I would live to be ninety.
God:
And then you started counting how many years remain. Live life as it comes to you. Think not so much about death. Think more about life. You are eternal anyway.
Death of the body is a heralder of new birth. You can have that awakening now. You can know the closeness of Our connection right now. Just a slight shift in your thinking will jog your memory. A certain forgetting will help you remember your totality and Mine.
But you think you are not capable of that.
You don't really believe Me on this one.
You believe that Christ did know Me fully while his body lived, but you do not believe you can. You do not really believe that ordinary mortals can meet their immortality while in their human body. You do not believe it is possible, so you disbelieve.
Disbelieve or not, you can have it. You can have the immediacy and depth of the knowingness of eternity right now. You can merge instantly and totally with Me right now. All you have to do is get past a little smoke that blinds you. A little cloud of smoke keeps you away from the glory that is God.
I have claimed you. You are Mine. Admit it. Admit Our love. Claim Me.

My Dear Loving God, thank You for all Your love, healing, and guidance. Your answer to my question about healing is beginning to revolutionize my understanding, and, therefore, my experience of it. For the past several nights I have been able to sleep without my jaw splint simply because I took Your advice to depend on You instead.
Well, each day I am getting better at it. I feel You have healed my jaw already! After decades of seeking relief from pain, spending many thousands of dollars, trying this and that to no avail, losing lots of sleep and making myself into a nut case because I believed I was stuck with it, this is really news! I think the key is that I believed that I was stuck with it. As soon as You cleared up that misconception, everything changed. I have no words to express how happy I am to know that You are ALL I need to be healed!
