Dear God,I feel that letting go of my father is like letting go of being loved. That is what is so hard.
Karen also said that pure love isn't an either/or. It isn't a conviction. It just is.
God:
Karen said you convinced yourself of things. You would decide if someone or something was all right. If you found them acceptable in your mind, then you would accept them. You let some things in and kept some things out.
Gloria:
But don't we human beings have to do that?
God:
That's judging. Convince and convict are words very close together.
Certainly you don't have to accept everything.
But you don't have to weigh everything either. When you convince or instruct yourself that something is worthy or unworthy, you are holding on to the past.
Listen to your own being. Hear. Don't judge. Be.
Gloria:
Dear God, You have said that the surface can belie the truth. Karen is saying that also, that many things in my life are not what I believed, or was led to believe, or had to believe in order to survive etc. This is so confusing to me. I feel like the very foundation I built on has been taken away from me.
I know that You are the True Foundation, and I know it matters that I know that, and then I wonder how much anything matters, dear God. In a way I feel like an adopted child who wants to seek her true parents. So then she finds a name that was her mother. The one who gave her birth gave her birth whether she knew the name or not. I mean, I always knew my birth mother and father, but what does that do?
I mean is all life a search for You, God, the true Father? A search for Christ, the true brother? Mother Divine, true mother?
God:
Yes. And it matters very much. Christ and I and Mother Divine are always with you. That is fact. Until you know that, really know that inside, you are lost. Really knowing that you are connected with Me always and forever is seeing, experiencing, and knowing My love which then emblazons into your faith. Your faith is My love given back to Me. Faith is not a belief. It is your heart filled with Me.
"Put no other idols before me" means to know Me.
If fame and fortune or your earth father or mother or society or the Wizard of Oz are what you look to before Me, then you have false idols. When you are attached to the temporal, as you have been, you are away from Me.
Love the temporal, but do not worship it.
When the periphery of life is periphery, then you experience Our Union of pure love.
Are you in pieces or are you whole?
Your eggs are in one basket with Me or they are not.
You're not playing around any more, Gloria.
Coming to full realization of Me does not have to be a slow tippy-toe process. The water is fine. Dive right in and pull Me up with you. Be wet with Me even on land. Don't shake Me off. Don't take Me out, and then put Me away. Take Me out and keep Me.
If you can have Me for one minute, you can have Me for ten, or twenty, or every moment. All the time. Forever and ever.
The reality is the reality. I am with you 100%. You are never without Me, nor I without you. That is the reality.
But My children live the reality they accept.
They live the reality they feel they are worth.
Catch up with reality.
When you leap up into Heaven, do you think I won't catch you? That IS what you think. You think I am here maybe. You think I am here sometimes. You think I am somewhere. You think I am far away from you.
You think I can talk to you but not help you. You think you can hear Me but not be held by Me.
You think miracles exist sometimes somewhere somehow, but not dependably.
That is because you depend on the wrong things.
Can you see how faith is really receiving?
How much faith you have is how much of My love you are willing to accept.
It is simpler to accept all of My love and have all of My faith than to nibble at it.
Do you choose part of a dress or the whole dress?
Do you choose to use one leg or both?
Better to sit on the whole chair than to sit on the edge.
But you sit on the edge of life, My dear.

Dear God, I begin to feel a couple of things. That everything You have given here up to now has been preamble —
God:
It is all preamble until you get it.
Gloria:
— And somehow I begin to feel I understand how You could have chosen me to put Heavenletters together. Exactly because I don't know more than anyone else! Not in spite of! Because of!
God:
Yes. You are beginning to see truth. You are beginning to see. You are beginning to let go. When you let go, then you can see what is before you.
