Dear Father in Heaven, thank You for the abundance of good people you send who appreciate HEAVEN so much and let me know!
God:
This is a good example of how serving Me enriches. Praise for Me reverberates through you, and your joy heightens.
Gloria:
I do not know of anything that could make me happier, dear God. What? My car doesn't need repair? My haircut turned out okay? Roses bloom? I'm glad for those, but they are not You.
Dear God, it is hard for me to reconcile the smallnesses of human life with the greatness of You.
God:
Points of the finite also express infinity.
Gloria:
Dust? Anger? Clutter? Hard feelings?
God:
Beneath the disturbances is a plain of greatness. Grass and weeds grow on the plain. But is not the plain as a whole magnificent? Wherever you put your foot, whatever your eyes see, is a curve of creation.
My hands fashioned the soil, planted the seeds, tilled the earth, watered it, cooled it and heated it, set it in motion, gave it to you to enjoy, and made you for it.
When your foot steps on a stone, keep your eyes on the horizon, for that stone is also a prop to lead you to the horizon.
And what is a horizon? It is where Heaven and earth meet.
Human life may be made of detail, but life is not detail.
My messages here are made of words, but words extricated from the whole are not the message. The message goes beyond words. Someone caught in the words might miss the message.
The details of life are like a banister that leads up the stairs to Heaven. You put your hand on a banister, and it helps you rise.
But the banister is not for itself. It has a reason to be, and that reason is to guide you to Me.
Even dust and clutter and hard feelings lead you to Me. One way or another, they remind you of Me. Even if you say, "Where is God in all this mess?" you are thinking of Me. Even if you say, "There is no God," you are thinking of Me. Even when you feel lost or abandoned, your thoughts go to Me. The details of life urge you to Me.
Clutter tells you, "God is here somewhere in all this mess."
In the daily routines, and even nonsense of life, I am there, forging a way for you.
In counting numbers, I am.
In dotting i's and crossing t's, I am.
In dust I am. Who made the appearance of dust? Consider dust a windfall from God.
Within the dullest chore of life, you are touching the banister that leads to Heaven.
Gloria to Mother Divine:
Dear Mother Divine, I realize that I do a lot of trying to escape the humdrum of life.
Mother Divine:
Consider the humdrum a blessing.
Consider the repetitive acts in life a mantra.
Remind yourself that even the smallest chore is an offering to God.
Every time you offer the lowliest service to Ginger and Sunshine, you are serving God in Heaven.
Every turn of the page is fanning God.
Every step you take touches the earth in service to God.
Every thought you have is a message to God.
Every bead you string makes a necklace for God.
Every weed you pull massages God's earth.
Every time you open your door to see who's there, you open the door for God.
Every time you step in mud, you shape the earth.
Every dish you wash calls God to you.
Every glass you break rings a bell to Heaven.
Every object you misplace reawakens your awareness of your Heavenly Father.
The purpose of everything is to remind you of God.
So let everything remind you of Him and me and your path to Heaven's abode.
Every step you take is a step closer.
Every leaf you rake is for God's rhythm.
Every menial task is calling God to you.
God attends you. Now you attend to God.
