Go to sleep at night with the thought of Me on your tongue. Rise in the morning with a thought of Me in your ears. I am always in your heart. Now I rise to your mind as well. Now I get your attention. Attend to Me in your thought.
I whisper in your ear always, but I do not always get your attention. The world distracts you. That is what the world is for. And then your attention comes back to Me. That is the blessing of the world. It brings you back to Me. Come back to Me often. It is just by the slightest turn of a dial that I appear in your awareness. Turn the dial. I already have My full attention on you.
It is not that you focus on Me, for that implies a concentration. I am too vast to concentrate on. But I am an easy Attention-getter. Just easily turn your awareness to Me. Hold Me lightly, not tightly. Captivate yourself with Me. It requires no effort at all. Just as your head turns in a room when a beautiful presence enters, so turn your head to Me.
I am the opposite of effort. Remove effort, and you will have Me fully in your awareness.
It takes no effort for the sun to rise. It is not lifting anything. You know that the sun doesn't even really rise. It just has the appearance. And so it is with your awareness of Me. Nothing is changed but your awareness of where I always am, have been, with you. It's just that you start noticing more.
It takes no effort for a star to twinkle. Actually, it was twinkling eons before you noticed. Nothing is changed when you notice a star bright except your noticing.
Silence is all around you. Yet it takes your noticing. Go beneath the din, and silence awaits. It was always there, waiting for you. Silence existed before noise. And you existed before you were born.
Doesn't that seem obvious? Yet have you not thought that your existence began when your body did? You have been in existence as long as I have, but there is no long about it, nor short either. We have existed as long as silence. There never was a moment without silence and there never was a moment without Me or without you. There never was a moment. Yet Eternity is a blink of the eye.
You often think about an after life. You may have had thoughts about past lives of yours. But I am speaking about before that, even though it was less than a minute ago, not even a minute, for minutes do not exist. You have been forever beyond where time exists.
There never was a moment when We were not. And yet eternity is briefer than a moment. Eternity cannot be elongated. There is timelessness the same way there is spacelessness. How can space exist in spacelessness? How can time exist in eternity?
How can a world exist without silence? From silence, creation began. Then there was a hum, and from the hum you arose. From the hum, I arose. The world arose. Every thing arose. The hum was a sound of thought, and so from thought you arose. Yet, can love be a thought? Love is beyond thought, and so are you. You are beyond everything in Creation. You are far more than a Created Being, for it is My Being you are.
You are on an outing on Earth. Might as well enjoy it.
