My wife Marie and I went a few days ago to an inner child party...I wrote a lot that day...in the form of one line messages as party favors for the guests...here are some:
Happiness happens when we exchange our high horse for a smaller one.
Happiness happens when we forget how important we think we are.
Happiness happens when we forget how insignificant we think we are.
Happiness happens when inspite of everything...we choose to be happy.
Happiness happens when we stay up past our bedtime.
Happiness happens when we stop pretending we are unhappy.
Happiness happens when we loose our love affair with feeling we have to defend our point of view.
Happiness happens when give up our love affair with how we think life ought to be.
True happiness does not depend on the content of external events...it is, quite happily...unconditional! (the last one I just made up)
and another one is coming now:
Happiness happens when we forget to be serious.
I hope you enjoyed these. Love, Jim
