Hi Gloria,
Thank you for God's words. You were correct I did feel a response before I received God's answer. The sadness disappeared and I experienced an acceptance of what is. While we obviously still don't know the outcome, I know that all will work out as it does, whatever that is.
You know we lost a home many years ago and it didn't change anything except that our family grew closer. We still found joy in the simple things and everything really. Truly, we couldn't have been happier in those days and we had nothing except the most important thing of all...LOVE!
Before I received God's advice about my husband today, I was already doing what He told me to do. I am taking and will take the steps my husband would like me to take. And... up until yesterday my husband hadn't asked me to take any steps! It truly is amazing to me that God's words matched the steps (although baby ones) I am taking. How does that work? Ahhh, the mystery. Quite intriguing. While God's words were a reality check and I found myself a bit surprised, I had to chuckle when He said I was a great dramatist.
I also noticed a change in my husband and his outlook. His drama has changed as well. He was more optimistic in that he was allowing our situation to open up new possibilities for us. He hasn't taken that track up until the last two days after I had poured out my heart to God. So both of us remain open, and we are both taking steps in a new direction. We are both more accepting of what is.
I may not have articulated all of this as well as I could have. But my hope is you will get the gist of the message. God has helped our family.
I feel blessed because not only did I get this message today, I also received the Heavenletter today which brought tears in understanding. With all my heart, I thank you.

You and I are also computer twins. You may be sure that I'm non-techno. I blame it on the program! And sometimes it is the program!
It's a good guess that thoughts of yours would be just fine. Please go here to read the guidelines for posting. I'm sorry they're dictatorial. The guidelines began so simply and they got more militant as we found more posts going off-track. However, the guidelines do their job. Some day soon someone will have to rewrite them in a nicer shorter way.

First of all, let me say it doesn't really matter where you post. The main thing is, from my side, that you post.
Here's a straightforward way, dear Mary Grace:
At the end of the text of every Heavenletter, you will see an Add Comment link. Click that Add Comment link on your Heavenletter. It will take you to a box where you can post. It may ask you a few questions first to make sure you're not spam. It may ask you to register. Skip registration for now.
Okay, so now you have a box to post in! Type in what you have to say. Be sure to remember to press Submit. Just so you know, unregistered, your post will not show up immediately. It will be posted just as soon as one of the moderators gets to the queue where your comment is waiting for approval.
Please tell me if this works for you. If you run into any difficulties, I have other routes to give you, dear angel.

I have sent pictures before but people had trouble receiving them so I was not sure about my delivery that was why I wanted to make sure you got it.
What a small world this is. Where do you live now?
I have no objection to posting on your forum and I went looking at it to see how to do it. I can not figure out how to leave a comment or put a post there. My computer skills are not the greatest and many times I wander around and cannot figure out what to do so I just leave the sites.
I need step by step instructions to know how to access your wonderful forum and also put my own thoughts on it. Is that possible.?

Ideas for site upgrade

I don't know what a child page or its weight or a top-level book is, but hopefully this is the right place for noting down ideas and adding new ones as they come.

Features I would like the new version to have are:

1) A direct link for Heaven Sutras.

2) If a thread, e.g. a forum topic like "Wow! Wow, God!", has more than one page, clicking the link for a recent comment on page 2 of the thread should lead there immediately; as it is now, you end up on page 1 and heave to search for the comment you want to read.

[For Santhan: Go to the Community page, open Forum Comments and click, for instance, Emilia's "reflections". It will take you to the top of page 1 of this thread. If you want to see Emilia's "reflections", you have to scroll down, open page 2 and scroll down again. In contrast, for everything on a first page (most pages are first pages), clicking a link will immediately take you to the post you want to see. This, by the way, is the reason why "Typos and Clarifications" (General Stuff) comes in 4 parts. ]

3) A short tutorial introducing some of the features of the site, e.g. the various forums or the search functions, may be desirable.

4) I would like the lists on the Community page to be longer; there is open space down to "Clustr Maps".

5) And I would looove more search options, e.g. "Containing all of the words". Useful when you remember two or three terms but no complete phrase.

6) In searching Heavenletters, the comments are included; would it be possible to set the search engine to only crawl the Letters themselves?

7) It seems that comments on Heaven News tend to get overlooked. They show on the "Recent Comments" list under "Admin Tools" but not in the public area of the Community page where they might arouse more interest.
7a) Names of posters should be given in comments under Heaven News.

8) Perhaps the "Share" button can be moved to somewhere else. I open that menue several times a day without ever intending to. It's a bit of a nuisance.

9) Sometimes the Heaven website is terribly slow and takes endlessly to open a page. That's wenn we get double postings. (When I sit in front of my computer, waiting for some Heaven page to open, I sometimes check much "heavier" sites and always find them working immediately.)

My questions, thoughts about manual and use of FAQ page for these questions rather than manual

These are general questions I have to ask you:

Do you mean for the manual questions to be in FAQ? My feeling, in terms of the web site proper, is that this is perhaps where they belong.

I think you mean these questions for something else. But if they are on the FAQ page, we can refer people to the page?

I would very much like the FAQ page to flow as one piece and not be broken up with links. Look at the first question below. It has a one sentence answer. Not worth a whole separate section. Pretty much the first several FAQ questions all answer the question, What are Heavenletters? Maybe all the questions do.

For me to scroll is much easier than to click and wait. It makes more sense to me, like the way Heaven News is without breaks. Maybe in just following along rather than clicking, people read more of what we want them to read too.

I also like the idea of sending people who may ask some of the questions to the FAQ page. I think it takes pressure off them. I also like that, this way, we are including answers to questions they might not yet have verbalized. I also feel that some questions have to be answered on more than one level, and FAQ allows that.

I do understand there are probably things you have to take into consideration that I know nothing about.

These were all real questions, and real answers. (I make here a few very minor changes in the answers. And I would change the order as they now appear in FAQ.)

I am trying to put my comments in color so it's clear.

• Am I joining something when I subscribe?

You join a Heavenweb of readers coming closer to God.

• I'd like to know the source/author of this material. Is it channeled material? Is any of it out of A Course in Miracles??? Where is it coming from??? What organization is behind it? (Include the whole question, not shortened.)

God is the Source. Or, if you prefer, a Higher Power, Intelligence, Consciousness, the Presence — whatever you like to call this Greatness.

David Hawkins, author of Power vs. Force, wrote us a letter and mentioned that A Course in Miracles “…correctly terms the source of its knowledge as The Voice for God i.e., a Heavenly Source.” He also added: “I note that you have already discerned that such is the case for ...Heaven Letters.”

Heaven Letters are not from A Course in Miracles, but they are inspired writings.

Heaven Letters are not channeled. No entity takes over or anything like that. God is behind Heaven Letters.

The Godwriting™ International Society of Heaven was founded in order to share God's new messages with everyone who wants to hear them. It is our understanding that the circulation of God’s words and love and wisdom will lift the vibration of the world.

• Is this a religion?

Heavenletters is an e-church. There are no religious observances unless you call reading Heavenletters an observance. Every religion is represented in the global readership of Heavenletters. Agnostics and atheists are also represented here and are welcome. Everyone is welcome to read God’s words and share them. We are delighted to have you subscribe and read Heaven Letters.

• How can I know that Heaven Letters come from God?

God answers that by saying: "Ask your heart."

* I am somewhat baffled by these Heaven Letters, and perhaps you can help me better understand them. What are they?

Heaven Letters are up-to-the-minute practical messages from God intended for all of us. God's messages are heard and written down in these contemporary times. This immediateness is one of the things that makes Heaven Letters precious

* I don't see God as out there. He is within me, so I don't understand how God can be talking as if He/She is separate from me.

This may be the most important question of all. Read what God says about this below. It's beautiful.

"I, Oneness, talk as though I am Another. But would you have Me be quiet? Would you silence Me. Would you have Me listen only to your individuated thoughts?

"Or would you listen to your Wholeness which is what you hear when I speak?

"Let it be Our game. Let Us play Our roles. Yes, it is all I anyway, and if you could grasp, it is all you all the same.

"The time will come when you are fully aware of Our Oneness, and even then We will play."

* Is this something I have to study?

Not at all. Just read Heavenletters easily, let God's words wash over you, and God will do the rest.

• What is reading Heaven Letters supposed to do for me?

Open your heart. According to readers, you'll come to like yourself and the universe more. You'll feel more courageous, more honest, more creative and less complicated. • What are the Godwriting Workshops? Who gives them?

Godwriting Workshops are where you come when you would like to deepen your connection to God and write down God's words yourself. Everyone who comes to a workshop is charmed to discover how simple God makes it to write His words. At present, Gloria leads the workshops.

Here we can add questions about sponsoring workshops etc. Translating etc. And some of the other questions you ask, all necessary.

I will work more on this. Am I going in the right direction, Querido. Is FAQ the way we want to go?

Do you have books or printed newsletters available? - Your question was Where can I buy the printed book/e-book? I like yours better. The answer has to be updated. I will work on it.

There is also a question about scriptural references which might belong with What are Heavenletters except I wouldn't want it so close to the top where it is now.

The past is not about you

The past is not about you unless you insist it is. Why do I need to read this in a Heavenletter? The moment I read it, it strikes me as my own truth. Why do I have to read it somewhere "out there" to remember? Is it about daring to? Anyway, once I'm past that sentence, I'm on a slide and the next "sentence" is: Nothing is about anything unless I say it is. Gathering speed, the next sentence is only a blur and then there are no further sentences.
Knowing things is what makes life so difficult. Contrary to what I have believed, the solution to life is not in knowing more, not in revelations, not in becoming more aware. We have to speak about awareness and even Heavenletters have to, but what it really comes down to is getting the garbage of thinking and knowing off that which is there and is perhaps best called nature or a smile.
To function in what we call the world, perhaps it is necessary to somehow know what we are doing. I doubt it, but I may be wrong. I am beginning to experience breaks in this world knowing. Not to know that these are keys I have to press k, e, y, s to make the word "keys". Not to know that this is Jochen and that a tree. It's not about forgetting their names. It's about forgetting all the ancient verbal and nonverbal definitions. And really it's not even about forgetting. Look out the window and suspend for a moment your knowing about whatever you see.
It can't be done, of course. But perhaps we can be open to having our heart touched by something God – we – may say tomorrow or may have said in an old Heavenletter.

my training out of the past

I had my breakfast in the bathtub, afterward I went out on a walk with my blackbird to the collar, I bought cigarettes, which I do not smoke, to read what it is written on the packet, I sat down at the outdoor table of a coffe bar, I drank my coffee, it was, as usual, disgusting. I will try again tomorrow, it will be delicious, unless I say it will be not.

A New World of Space and Time

Whenever God declares that "today is a special day" (and it happened a few times in earlier Heavenletters) I am excited and, at the same time, I know I will be "disappointed" at the end of the day. Of course, it is because I try to analyze it. But when I read that "Today you have a new start...You can make today anything you want", I wonder how I can start anew without the past. By "without the past" I mean that there is nothing on this Earth that we can really do or imagine without memory and without copying nature. How can I imagine a new life where there is no memory, a life where I will create only with vibrations, without any preconceived images, without any known tools? How can I even imagine painting without colors, singing without notes?
So after reading this Heavenletter, I decided not to post any comment until I would stop analyzing this letter and let it simmer on the stove for the rest of the day. So, last night, wanting to relax without having too much to think, I watched the movie "Collateral damage" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Without entering into the details of the scenario of that movie, let us say that it concerns personal revenge into the context of political operations. You want to kill somebody because this somebody has killed your wife and your kid in a terrorist attack.
While watching this deadly fight between Good and Evil, between Democracy and Military Governments…I started feeling TOTALLY NEUTRAL watching this conflictual scene. By totally neutral I mean that I saw the whole scenery as a game like if the fight between the Good and the Bad was absolutely nothing but a game that we take seriously. And this NEUTRAL STATE in my heart made me feel a huge amount of Compassion towards us, the human species. It is such a liberation to discover that Compassion is so encompassing, yet it is not emotional at all. It floats above duality like Love, because Compassion is Love. Non-judgement is also a dynamic state of Love.
So when God said (earlier) that "TODAY IS A CONJUNCTION OF YOUR LIFE", I think that effectively there was a new conjunction of my life. These words were not only metaphor because I knew that today is/was the 24th of August and it was x o'clock.
I just realized so intensely that what makes me believe that I cannot really change myself deeply is that I am looking for consistency of life. And the seek for consistency is our very human bias. My past experiences are based on a consistency model of our physical perception of the Universe. This perception has a premice which says that we are alone in the Universe and that the essence of our world is duality. So is science which uses a dual consistency model of observed phenomena and deducted laws. We live in a parameter, a paradigm that pertains only to our relative 3 or 4 D dimension. And what are the constants that give this consistency its apparent solidity? What else then struggle for power and control, hunger, and war?
What if we started operating a shift in our consistency model of life? What if we substitute God's intelligent design to the Big Bang Theory of the beginning of the Universe? What if we substitute Neutrality to Duality? Peace does not oppose to War, Love does not oppose to HATRED. Compassion does not oppose to Harshness. Love is One, Neutrality is One, Compassion is One.
What if we really started believing that the physical law or the real consistency of life on earth is Peace? Is this new conjunction a way of saying that there is a new magnitude to Earth, a New World of Space and Time? I believe more and more so. We have to stop thinking that there is nothing that will happen that has not happened before (according to our old consistency model of life). On the contrary, we have to EXPECT things that have not happened before. How can we create otherwise than believing in the UNEXPECTED? That seems how life really operates. The magic of life is the magic of God's way of doing things which we can reproduce. God told us many times to copy him. Do we? This is a tremendous shift in our way of seeing Reality, a shift where we don't fear anymore the world because we are put in control of the world in conjunction with God. And the past is an obsolete consistency model of life.

Some Questions about Workshops for FAQ?

What does it mean Godwriting? What does it imply?

Godwriting™ is the process of writing down what we “hear” God say. Heavenetters are Godwritten, and, once written, then I call the existing Godwriting Heavenletters. Instead of coining the term Godwriting, I could have used the term Heavenletterwriting instead!

Do we really hear God?

We don’t really hear a voice. At least I don’t. It is like a subtle sense of hearing. It is almost hearing. It's like hearing inside. More a sense of hearing and having more trust that it is God we hear whispering to us ever so silently.

How do I get everything clear in my mind before engaging into Godwriting. This is something I’m not sure I am ready for.

As we Godwrite, we have to put thinking aside. Godwriting is not a thinking process. It is more a feeling process. It is letting go of thinking and boldly trusting. It takes guts to Godwrite! We have to be more trusting of ourselves. In a way, it is like jumping off a cliff – we don’t know where we’re going to land.

We don’t have to be clear in our minds! In fact, to Godwrite, we can't be clear in our minds! Every time we Godwrite, it is like for the first time. We are innocent. We have to be innocent.

As for being ready, Godwriting, to my mind, isn't something we are ever ready for! The process of Godwriting is letting go of our usual thinking and the standards we impose on ourselves. Every time we Godwrite, it is like for the first time.

God in Heavenletters™ says we don't have to do anything to get ready for Him! There is no real preparation for Godwriting. If we prepare, you and I, then perhaps we are deciding what our Godwriting has to be and what it has to look like. It doesn't have to be anything at all but what it is. There is no certain way Godwriting has to be.

While we're actually Godwriting, we don't always know how powerful our Godwriting is. We have to let go of the idea that every word has to be something special.

What if I can't keep up the pace. It is a responsibility, after all, and a really special one that we cannot abandon once we start. What happens in that case?

There is no pace we have to keep. God does not make us make a commitment. It's great to Godwrite every day, but God doesn't say we must. We aren’t abandoning anything if we don’t keep on with it. God is always here for us. He’s ready whenever we are. Nothing happens if we stop. We can only be ahead.

Are translators of Heavenletters also Godwriting?

Certainly, translators put their whole hearts and souls into translating. Translating Heavenletters has to be more than translating cut and dried materials. Translating Heavenletter requires a love for Heavenletters and a sense of how to cast the meaning into a different language. Sometimes an almost Godwriting, yet translating Heavenletters is not Godwriting.
