Who Is the Healer?
When all the answers to all the questions in the Universe are within you, how necessary is it to seek knowledge from outside you? When you have more than enough money in your pocket, you don't run out to the bank to get change. When you have plenty of butter in your refrigerator, you don't run out to the store to buy more. You don't go out to find that with which you are already fully stocked.
In terms of knowledge, your mind does not remember what I bequeathed to you. Your body has not forgotten. Your body and heart know more than your mind can contemplate let alone fathom.
From whence does your inner knowledge come? It is built into you. I made it so. Assuredly, all the knowledge I poured into you is not erudite. It likely won't be in words at all. You may simply know it by impulse. Suddenly your awareness is there just the way suddenly you realize it is raining. Suddenly you are caught up in a swell of yourself, and you have risen to a higher note.
When your inner knowledge announces itself, what has happened is that you let go of all you ever learned. That is when you find yourself listening to the Voice of Nature that is within you. You listen and you hear, and you follow. Almost in an instant, all you need to know rises up from the Ocean, and you find yourself swimming in an awareness you had not known you were swimming in all along.
That which you can explain carries less weight than that which cannot be explained. The power of the Unknown excels far beyond the already known. You might call this power a natural instinct. Are you surprised that I would suggest this to you?
Look, for instance, at what your body can do without instruction from you. When did you ever have to instruct your body on how to grow? When did you ever have to give your body a signal to tell your body that it's time to make hormones or renew cells? When did you ever have to tell your life's blood to run through your veins? Look at what the body can do without any input from your facile mind. Is it not possible that your body is better off without interference from you and all the accumulated knowledge?
And yet you are convinced that your mind and certainly other minds must know more than your heart and body do. Certainly there are other minds that know facts and hold information greater than yours. Yet what are facts but fleeting things? I do not take too much stock in facts. There was a time it was a fact that the Earth was flat and that man could never fly let alone reach the moon. You may take limits seriously, but I, I know better.
When you can let go of all the mental dialogue, you will soar. When you can let go of all the learned information stuffed into you, when you can silence the memorized interior dialog that whisks around in your head, then you can invite your heart and body to speak, and then you can begin to listen to what they tell you, and then you will soar. Then you will be listening to the pulse of the Universe, and then you will hear the singing of the stars commingled with the muted voice of your heart welcoming you to Heaven where innocence supreme keeps lifting you higher and higher until space and time no longer exist as they once did but now clearly as a mirage.
