What's happening this week

Just to let you know, Larry & Carol, the beautiful couple from Great Falls, Nevada, who sponsored the last Godwriting workshop there, motorcycled 1500 miles to come for a visit. They've been just about everywhere on their motorcycle except for Iowa. They are two of the nicest people in the world.

We will be traveling to the Lincoln Museum in Illinois and visiting other places closer to home.
There will be more about their visit on the blog (www.godwriting.org). Plenty of photos too.

You may be sure that I'm receiving and writing down a Heavenletter a day.

www.self-growth.com is publishing as many Heavenletters as I can send. They're posted under Spiritual Development, Death Dying and Grieving, and one under Depression. The one under Depression tells about a supreme miracle. You'll also find that story on the blog as well.

Meanwhile, in preparation for a new life in Argentina, I've been getting ready for the first in a series of yard sales. I've packed quite a few boxes. In fact, my house is box-o-rama.

I have a good question for you:

How on Earth did I accumulate so much stuff?!!!

Love and blessings,

Gloria

Are the orange slippers for

Are the orange slippers for sale? I make a million bid for them! :big

What a memory! Sold, beloved

What a memory!

Sold, beloved Maria!

Actually I have some new orange crocs. They're more like sandals. What size shoe do you take? I've never really worn them. Let me know!

Yes, I have an excellent

Yes, I have an excellent memory. Thank you! Who are you? Do I know you? :big

Mrs Gloria, my God, you really mean it about the shoes....Thanks for the offer! It was just a joke! (Serves me right for making jokes all the time!) :big

Oh, I wish there were yard sales in Greece, too! (God are you there? I say I wish there were bla bla... Ok, He's got it.)

Things accumulate all the time, but I follow the rule "If you haven't used it the past 2 years, you'll lose it", so with the change of the seasons, I empty my closet and give away all my old possessions like clothes, bags, accessoires, belts, shoes etc. It's nice to have a half-empty closet with clothes you pick to wear every day. Hoarding is awful but it's not easy sometimes to say goodbye to the past, is it?

Love!!!!

Maria

Maria, dear, I accepted your

Maria, dear, I accepted your bid of 1 million for my orange shoes, for which I will also throw in a pair of extra orange shoes! I know you were kidding, sweetheart, but I am serious about the shoes! What size do you take? Anyone who offers 1 mil even in jest deserves a reward!

You sure have the right idea about emptying your closets. I have definitely hoarded, and it has not been easy for me to say goodbye to the past. However, I am learning fast!

With love and blessings,

Gloria

Mama, I was joking about the

Mama, I was joking about the shoes! Boy, you're a persistent Aries... Now, that you've changed residence, what is your new address? I want to stop by for a coffee. :big

Isn't it liberating, mama, to throw away past belongings? We are not our past! (Time exists only in memory). We are what we are and that is beyond what we did and said in the past. Throwing away old things makes room for the new ones and pushes us to buy new, beautiful things for our new, beautiful self!

I love you! You know it...

Maria

Just in case these wonderful

Just in case these wonderful shoes shoulde get tired by being "ping ponged" from the States to Greece, they could make a pit stop at Milan - Italy to rest for a while !!!! :big

Dear Gloria, my parents have moved to a new house after 30 years ! I have seen the impossible, they could have filled up a football stadium with all the stuff they had !! :p

A new bidder for the shoes,

:big A new bidder for the shoes, Mrs Gloria! 1,2,3 we have a deal! The shoes go to the beautiful lady in Italy! :big

Dear Berit, I've seen the impossible, too!
A friend moved last year to a new, smaller appartment and she filled 2 tracks (!) with heavy boxes full of stuff. She gave away one track to her mother, she kept one half for to the new house and the other half went to 3 charitable foundations. She herself even wondered where all these things came from! :big

Rather than having to choose

Rather than having to choose between the beautiful lady in Italy or the beautiful lady in Greece, I thought, in fairness and in my wisdom, I could splt the pair of orange shoes between the two of you. However, as of today n this serious matter, neither of you has given me her shoe size. With that in mind, I think the thing to do is to find a prince who will sail over the seas and see whose foot the shoe fits. Incidentally, I do have two pairs of orange shoes so it may work out that everyone will be happy, as I pocket the mil from each of you.

I see possibilities of going into the shoe business, as I must have at least fifteen pairs of shoes, including Doc Martens plus rain boots, snow boots, slippers, etc.

I have, believe it or not, about fifty vintage hats, and I might throw them into the bargain.

Well, we will work out details later.

Looking forward to your reply.

Love and blessings,

Gloria

I think I'd rather have the

I think I'd rather have the prince and leave all other things behind, how can I resist such romantic proposal ??

You certainly have every chance of making the biggest success in shoe buisiness dear angel !! You are not thinking of taking snow boots and rain boots to Cappilla del Monte ???

I'd love to have a look at all these things, sureley packing them away it must seem to you that some appear as quite new to you, not seeing them for some time because they were stored away. that really is the beauty of storing things away, to find them again is like buying them for the second time new!!

So, pls be so kind as to give my adress to the wonderful prince, not matter if he sails, flys or comes on a white horse....

This shall be taken care of.

This shall be taken care of. I will look for two lucky twin princes, one for you and one for Maria.
Princesses deserve princes.

I was just reading a feng shui book on clutter last night. I shall overcome. Though I must say it is easier to leaf through the book than all the stuff I have.

Just a note, almost all my clutter has not been stored but has been out in plain sight!

Love ya,
