war and peace

Behold Peace

God said:

It can be said that nature is the healer. It is indeed natural to heal. It is indeed natural to have no need to heal. We can say that you have a self-cleaning physiology. As you live and move in the world, nature does not have to allow occlusions to the smooth flow of health.

One way to look at it is that happiness is health. It is not an absolute that health is a by-product of happiness, yet it is a good way to look at it, for it makes your securing happiness incumbent upon you.

The Energy of Love

God said:

You have a tendency to like to think of Me as outside you. You like to think of Me as up in the sky, a God entirely separate from you, a God you can adore and bow down to, a God worthy of being God.

Oh, beloveds, you are not used to the idea that you can be worthy. You value Me far more than you value yourself. You like to count on Me because you don't count on yourself much at all.

Why?

sBernie to God:

why do people have so much hatred for one another?
reading the news just blows my mind
all the killing of one another
religions
tribes
races
nationalities

God answers:

Truly, everything I say in Heavenletters responds to this question from one angle or another. Read My words over with Bernie's question in mind, and see the answers appear.

Love and Peace Are Oneness

God said:

Aspire to personal and world peace in your lifespan on Earth. When you are in the midst of the flow of love, you will have enlivened peace. You will have fullness of peace. Put off nothing until later. Where did you get the idea that peace is something to wait for? Invite it to you now.

War and Peace

God said:

Beloveds, do not think it is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

There is no retaliation worth its salt. There is no payback worth its name.

It is not for you to stay at the level of a wrong. My beloved children are not schoolboys who must hit back. You are messengers of God.

A Special Message on Peace

God said:

War is only a declaration. It is a declaration of untruth. It can never be a declaration of Truth. Everything that war says — in your mind, reverse it.

Underlying the chaos is peace and order and resurrection. Stay with Me, and do not mourn for the world. It needs not your pity. It needs your blessings. See the world as I do and shine My light upon it. There is a baseline from which Truth can never vary. Even the surface that you see can depart from Truth only so far. Even in war, there is great love, and it is evidenced.

Peace

God said:

Peace is not something you find. It is something you carry with you. It is a by-product of love. Peace is the sweet scent that a rose gives off.

Be a peace-giver. Wherever you walk, give peace.

Wherever you leave, leave peace in your wake. Carry an aura of peace.

Peace is not boring.

Do not say: "Peace be with you." Say: "Peace is with you."

Be an Enricher of Hearts

God said:

The core of life is My existence, and not what is portrayed on the screen of life. On the screen of life the conflagration of minds at war with themselves acts itself out. The names of their acts are drama and tragedy. They are crying for attention, and they will be noticed. "See me!" they are saying. "See how you have denied me!" they are saying. "See how I make you notice me!"

And they are schoolchildren who carve their name on a desk. They make their mark. They sear their name across the sky of life.

Our Journey Is Swift

God said:

You make excuses to come to Me. No excuses are needed. You make no excuses for breathing air or drinking water. You do not justify your need for them. Your need is a given. It is natural to breathe and to drink. It is also natural to come to Me, to catch up to where you already are. Get over here, and wait not for a reason. Tumble headlong to Me. Don't putter. Don't study the situation. Just come.

The Glory of Love

God said:

Love flows in an unending stream of itself. Although love may be categorized, love is love. It is not interchangeable with anything else and yet, unlike oil and water, love can merge with anything. There is not anywhere that love does not go. And yet, unbelievably, love is not always welcomed. If love were always welcomed, there would be no wars and no unhappy homes.
