Translators can't be thanked enough
Dear Translators, this started as a blog entry, and may yet be the beginning of one, but I couldn't wait to post this, and the Translators Corner is the place. Here goes:
I don’t think it is possible to know all that the translators do for Heavenletters.
We see a translation. We don’t know all that the translators have done, what is going on in their lives, what they have set aside so that they could translate. Are they late for work? Do they leave dishes in the sink? Do they make their husband or wife wait for supper? We do know that translators set something aside because of their love of God.
We don’t know what’s going on while translators translate. We don’t know the interruptions they have. We don’t know what other things they have on their minds.
We don’t know where they write. On a kitchen table? In their bedroom? Do they have an office?
Some translators are able to translate every day, seven days a week. But even when translators translate once a week, it’s a responsibility. Do you realize all that that means? Just having it on your mind is a lot.
Of course, the translators are doing what they want to do. No one is paid, and no one is obligated. They do it from the pure joy of their heart in service to this benevolent God of ours. It is a wonderful thing that translators make it possible for people in their countries to receive Heavenletters in their native tongue. It is a greater thing than translating that they do.
Unbelievable but true - when I try to express my appreciation, translators tell me they are thankful for the opportunity and for the blessings they receive from translating.
You know, it’s enough to make me believe that we live in an ideal world.
Dear Translators, maybe you would tell us more about yourself and answer some of these questions. Will you add this extra assignment to all that you do already? Will you?

You are right, in my case to translate heavenletters is in between all other things that must be done during a day. Nevertheless it is the Highlight of the day. When I miss a day translating - and I missed about 4 weeks right now, because of a special visit of my daughter - I miss a direct speaking of God to me - it is not enough to read Heavenletters for me- I need to do translation - even if there is only one reader..

how beautifully expressed all that you say ! I agree totally with what Stefan says:
Heavenletters translations are the Highlight of the day, translating them (although I don't translate as much as I'd like) is a blessing God showered on on all of us, for this I thank Him, it is necessary as Stefan explained, because reading and translating are so different.
Thank you dear Gloria for being a most sweet instrument of God's love and thank You beloved Father for bringing your sweet Love Whispers into my life !!

I feel I am privileged,
I feel I am privileged, because I can dedicate almost all of my time to the translations. Though I must say that my family is grumbling a little, because I'm not earning any money and 'm neglecting the housework. They say it's not a serious work I'm doing. - For me this is just an example of the belief the world has about work, it's worthy only if it gives you money.
I agree with Stefan and Berit: translating Heavenletters is quite different from reading them. I can read them without really absorbing what I read, but when I translate, every word enters my being and I must really absorb the meaning of every phrase. I think I could say that I'm really translating for myself, especially Heavenletters. When I get tired or overwhelmed with other translations, or when I'm feeling upset and out of center, I just sit down and translate a Heavenletter, and everything falls into place again, and I feel uplifted. For example, in this moment, I have many translations ready, so I could take a break, but I just need my 'daily bread' of Heavenletters.

Tell us more. Give us some of the details. Where are you when you translate? What is the room like? Tell us more about where you live altogether, the views from your window, things like that. Tell us EVERYTHING!!

Translating is more about not staying "in time" at all, but entering a quiet, sacred gap in time-space, where it is just you, the words, and God. I am not very good at translating every single day, but usually I translate about four or five letters in a row when I first get started. It is easier, somehow, to translate more fluently after I have already translated a letter or two. The mind quiets down, and the constant buzzing of thoughts disappears for a while.
Usually I sit on my laptop, either at the kitchen table (I am overlooking the garden and the forest), or I sit in my library.
It's a hundred year old wooden house, and the library is facing west, with deep red, dark brown, and dark blue colors. It's the warmest room in the house (since we've installed an energy saving heat pump in there), so I usually cuddle up in a chair with a blanket and some tea. I like translating early in the mornings, or late at night. I've always been kind of a bat - inspiration and creativity is flowing freely after sundown. I like it when the house is asleep, and the forest is quiet and dark. It is darkly divine, in a way.

Dear Gloria, since you want to know EVERYTHING..... I do translations in the evening, when my sons are to bed and the house is quiet, sometimes I do them when they still are around. Most of the time I translate directly on the computer because it's faster but sometimes I like to do them by hand first on a paper, it depends on how much I'm tired of staying on the computer (all day!) . On the left of where is my computer I have some prints of dolphins, I love so much, then there are some big posters around, a river, a lake, a forest.... and some naive prints.
sometimes I do the translations in the lunch time at the office, it's fun when people come to me and look at my screen reading: "God said:..", they go kind of blank and take some time to remember what they came for....
I too feel that that to do the translations is a kind of urge, when I translate it's a relieve, everything is ok, I'm having this intimate and sweet moment with God and everything is Heaven !!

hi every one! when i first
hi every one!
when i first saw Heavenletters through a weekly email in another group sending of more of the spiritual channeling things ... i was drawn to read it, but couldn't, yet i was interested! the only way for me was to translate them.
a very strange and yet so familiar request, i searched the net where the Godwritings came from, and found Gloria, i saw only a few translations were made in dutch, so then i wrote gloria and she agreed i could step in and translate.
the first translations were some what stale and lifeless, as i was still struggling the blockages of having to do right etc... after a while, they came as if i had never ever done any thing else in my entire life! LOL
i also like the way i am not forced to do them, there can be weeks in between translating and some times there can be only days, or i would translate almost every day!
it is some thing i allow to unfold, i feel free and happy when and if i can do them.
another thing i'd like to mention, which is quite remarkable too! each letter i translate has direct effect on my own life! the insights i have had in the past days or moments, they are in the letters!
i do feel very blessed in having this link in this energy field.
i see it as an inner shower of love, a meditation.
one of the simplest and completest meditations, i can have with my Creator.
as for the day to day life, i do them mostly immediately when they come in (early morning). instead of reading, i immediately open the word template and go ahead. it does not take too long (15 mns), words flow from my fingers and the dictionary is used when needed.
learning more words, not always remembering for next time.
gloria has such a rich vocabulary, it is a joy to learn more and more each day!
