The Star of Your Movie

God said:

Life is what you call it. Your words determine your life. Call it heads, and it is heads. Call it tails, and it is tails. Life is something you stir, put the cover on, serve to yourself and others. The soup of life may seem to come to you ready-made, but, even then, you are the purchaser of it. At least, you are the packager. At least, you carry it with you.

Words underline your life. They can undermine it as well. Which words do you speak the most? Can you see a correlation between your words and how life seems to arise? This thought is to have you attend to what you say. No more: "This always happens to me." "I'll never get this right." "Here I go again." Do you make these statements only when mishap befalls? Try it when the beautiful comes. One way or another, you affirm your life.

You encourage yourself or you discourage yourself.

You nourish yourself or you wring yourself dry.

Sometimes you even like when life proves itself faulty, for then you are proven right. You may like to be proven right at all costs. You may like to be a woe carrier. You may like to sing the song, "Look how bad life has been to me!" You hum it, and the theme runs through your life.

Sing a different tune. Look at how good life has been to you. Make up new words. Let new song titles enter your cells. Let new melodies light up your DNA. Let new lyrics light up your life and the world your words impinge upon.

Do you feel brightened now? Imagine what will happen when you switch your words and you switch your thinking, and the positive becomes a habit. What will you become habituated to? What thoughts will you ring through the world? What bells will you peal? What choice will you make today.

If you feel downtrodden, let it go. Don't put up banners. Put up billboards that lighten your heart and remind you of what you desire.

What you desire most of all is love. Until the world rushes to you with love, love yourself. Become yourself a reminder of love. Love the day that dawns. And love the night that sets. Love the sun and the moon equally. Love the stars, and love between the stars. Love rays of light and emit them. This is your calling. Light-giver are you. Find your light-switch and turn it on so that you may reveal the light of the world that you are.

You are an ever-brightening star on the horizon of life. You are the foreword of the book of life. You are the preview of a movie. You star in it. Who else but you stars in your life?

The star of life strides across the stage. He moves the story forward. He does not just throw up his hands. He makes something happen. He opens doors and goes through them. He opens them for others as well. Regardless of the scenery, he creates his own setting.

Other characters walk on stage, and they may create different scenes.

And you create your lines, and you create the play. Nothing is the sayer of you but you. You learn your own lines, and you say them, and you write and rewrite the drama, and you pull the strings, and you bring life to life.
