Perched outside my window
On a blustery winter's day
Two loving eyes adored me
An angel sent my way.
Will you focus on the winter
let your heart be icy cold
Or see the loving vibrance
on my red breast color bold?
The beating deep inside my breast
Which never beat for me
began a steady rhythm
Renewed Divinity.
A season of my soul now past
Rebirth - renew - reborn
I sing a song of gratitude
On this soon to be Spring morn.
