The Matter of the Heart

God said:

Today you will find occasions to love. Some occasions will be as easy as pie. Before you know it, you will have given love. It will be like you got up on the bus and gave your seat to someone without even thinking about it. Other occasions may not be so easy. You may not even think to get up and give your seat to someone. Or, if you think of it, you prefer not to.

It is not really that in loving you are giving up something. You are gaining something. It is a question of what you are willing to give to yourself. It is a question of how much happiness you want to give to yourself.

It is not that you are self-serving. You are not looking to self-inflate. You are simply looking to make the path of life a little smoother for someone who is going the same way as you. When you smooth the path of someone seemingly else, you inevitably smooth the path for yourself.

Everyone you smile at may not return your smile, yet a smile back is not what you smile for. The person before you is not the one you smile for. You smile for Me. It is I Who catches your smile. I receive it, every single smile of yours. I receive the seat you vacate. I receive the help you give a seeming stranger. I am the Recipient of everything you give. I restoreth your soul, and you leave Me a smile as a tip.

Every step you take is in homage to Me. It is to no other. Whatever people may run through your mind, whatever individual you serve, you are serving Me. There is no one else to serve, Beloveds. No matter the individual before you, you are serving Me. Serve Me well. Serve Me well. Therein lies happiness.

We are not talking about solely your happiness, you understand. By all means, experience happiness, yet happiness is not for yourself alone. Happiness for yourself alone serves only for a short duration. Beloveds, there is no one to serve but Me. You serve the Server.

It is I you save from a fire. It is I you tip your hat to. It is I you smile for. It is for Me that you carry packages. It is for Me that you never mind some of the things you have been minding. It is for Me that you give up littleness and acquire greatness. Everything you do is offered to Me. I am the taster of the food you serve. I am Everything.

I am the One you invite. I am the Guest Who appears at your door. I am the Host of the Universe, and I am your Guest. Invited or uninvited, I am your Guest, and yet I am also the Party-giver. Say hello to yourself. Say hello to Me. It is the Same.

Every kindness you give, you give to Me. And I accept.

No mother turns down the dandelion her child picks to give her. No God in Heaven refuses any offering from you. The altar you leave your gifts at is the altar of the world. How simple and lovely is that.

It is as if you build a bonfire of love that can be seen and felt everywhere. You bring kindling. You bring a leaf. You bring a crumb. You bring a log. You bring a piece of straw. It matters not. It matters that you bring something.

The biggest gift is not always the biggest gift. The smallest gift can be the biggest. The size of the gift is inconsequential. That you give is the heart of the matter, and so you give.

The New Alliance.

HeavenLetters constitutes with its near 3300 God's messages a new "daily" Evangel or Gospel expressing the New Alliance (or the renewed Alliance). This is the Evangel or Reunification, of Peace, of Essential Presence. It should be printed like the Bible.

Truth

This "lyrical wisdom" emanating from Heavenletters belongs to that ancient, long-lasting tradition known as "Philosophia perennis et universalis" and to whom we can simply refer as Truth.

It matters not

Although I wouldn't know where, it may have been said before that a piece of straw is enough. If so, it was never heard, obviously.

the Golden Thread

"Go, Arjuna and fight, but do not be attached to the outcome of your actions because everything you do, you do it for Me" ( paraphrase from the Bhagavad-gita ).
So yes, it has been said before that a "piece of straw" is enough if it is "for Him". "Everything you do is offered to Me...There is no one else to serve...it is for Me you smile...it is for Me...for Me...for Me...".
From man to man to man, this Golden Thread will lead us back to God. Someone heard on some level, somehow.

Dear Emilia, you are citing

Dear Emilia, you are citing what must be one of the greatest and most beautiful works in world literature on "service to God", but in doing so, you are making my point because an imminent battle and the prospect of having to kill friends and relatives is hardly a piece of straw, certainly not for Arjuna and most certainly not for me.

But I do not want to argue. What makes me say what I say is a very personal and of course totally subjective feeling that Heavenletters are really new and of an unprecedented radicality in what they say about dandelion stalks and pieces of straw: about how unbelievably small the step is we need to take. No battles, no struggles, no dark nights of the soul necessary any more. The days of easy God, easy enlightenment, easy paradise, easy happiness, easy love, easy being, easy oneness have come. Only we can't quite believe it yet. We still want to do a whole lot of deep and important things.

That's why I get uneasy and restless when I see Heavenletters "filed" under even the noblest rubrics. For me, they don't belong there. For me, they don't belong anywhere, being absolutely unique and thus absolutely original. Categorizing them in any way only takes away from their power which is the power of simplicity. Well, nothing can really diminish their power, of course. A piece of straw is invincible.

The runners of our sleigh glide through the snow. The paddle of Our canoe is swift and quiet in the water. Whatever Our vehicle, we glide through life today. We are gliders of life today. We glide joyously.

Is there a better use of Our life? Is suffering nobler? Is struggle more worthy? Perhaps friction does smooth edges, but let's make life smooth without friction. Let's remember what We are here for.

Beloved Jochen, your words

Beloved Jochen, your words make me want to cry in joy.

"What hath God wrought?"

Truth is One

Saying that Heavenletters belong to that tradition called Truth is not "filing" or "categorizing" them, unless Truth is a rubric. Heavenletters have their special and unique flavour in revealing Truth, but it is not the first time in the history of Humanity that Truth has revealed itself, in different ways, in different moments, to different people, through different paths, but the same core. We should always been capable to make connections and see Unity through and beyond what appears, only appears, to be different.
And, by the way, I completely agree on the easyness of the way to Truth, but this too has been said before.

I never wanted to say

I never wanted to say anything unkind, Emilia, I never wanted to say: "You're wrong." But things get tricky very fast as soon as we start comparing opinions, and we know that.

Which, in itself, is a beautiful thing, at least for me, because it immediately brings back into focus the only thing I ever want to say here, and that is: "Let us read Heaven #3116, Beyond Words, again. And let us read it yet again. And again." There was one Heavenletter some time ago which God repeated the next day. I wish He would repeat Beyond Words once a month....

It is my big dream that we finally get away from comparisons and interpretations and everything else that keeps us from simply listening and allowing God's words in Heavenletters to sink in, unfiltered by whatever seems to have gone before in our personal or collective story.

Arjuna's combat.

What is the deep meaning of Arjuna's combat? Do we have to combat Evil with Good? Shouldn't we think that Good cannot exist without Bad or Evil and vice-versa? There is a principle of Resonance and Attraction. As long as we believe in the existence of Darkness, Darkness will prevail. If we stand there, in the middle of this Darkness and Light, it is because we have believed in it, at a certain time. But Good and Evil belong to the world of Illusion, totally. The world we «apparently» live in, is a world that has been permitted by the Source but not installed by the Source. Darkness and Light exist only in a world «separated» from the Source. The paradox is that Good will NEVER prevail over Evil and Evil will NEVER prevail over Good, in our 3 dimension world. We have been trained and conditioned to believe in that. But THERE IS NO SOLUTION in our 3D world to the eternal combat of Good and Evil.

Because the solution or resolution between Good and Evil does not reside in the Outside World. We have been conditioned to believe in and adhere to a certain amount of things which have become, for us, in the progressive densification of our Vibrations, our only Truth. God proposes us to lift up ourselves to the worlds of Unity beyond the dialectics of Light and Darkness, where no possibility of combat exists. The only combat we have to pursue is the one against our own Illusion of believing in the combat of Light and Darkness. The space-time curvature of our world is what keeps our awareness captive of this Great Illusion.

And that is the real combat we have to pursue: discover that this is not what we are, to accept it or refuse it. Go Arjuna and fight your own Illusion, because you do it for Me and for You.

intention

How stimulating your comments, Jochen and Normand. I would like to add that the battle is not important at all, the doing in itself is irrelevant, whilst the intention of serving Him, in whichever way life put before us, is paramount because it is the only way to overcome the illusion of me and you and you doing something for this or that.

Making the path smoother for

Making the path smoother for someone else IS simply BEing, and YES BEing makes the path smoother for everyone. The energy of BEing favourizes any winwin relation and situation, as it leads to Peace for the individual and Peace for the Mankind. BEing connected to God within and the Universe, is the true Revelation of BEing your very own honest truth.

To me the greatest gift of all is Honesty, reflecting Love and Light in its most natural state of BEing...

Love you Hege :)
