What is in your heart to say to Me? I have been doing all the talking. Right now, if you were before Me (which, of course, you are), what would you say? Take all the time you need. Say it all. What do you find you have to say?

Perhaps not much. Given some moments secure with Me, you find that all the fuss and fuming subsided. Drifted off like wisps of smoke. You can't catch them. There may be no fuss or fuming left at all. Try as you may, you can't even recall what you were upset about, or what on earth there could have been to be upset about.

Faced with moments with Me, your thoughts cannot collect themselves. Gripped in the embrace of My love, you are out of thoughts. There is only you and I, and such glory between us that you have nothing to say. You are wordless in that you are beyond words. You are speechless in that you are beyond speech. You are in an element where there is no call for speech. What is there to say, after all.

What sounds or mutterings can possibly equal Our love or matter to it?

When you do not feel close to Me, you have a lot to say, lots of complaints and unending questions, but when you feel really close to me, words fail you. When you feel really close to Me, you know I am within you. You know We are not on opposite sides at all. You know We are deep Friends who have never parted from one another, as if We could. As if that apartness were anything but an awkward dream. As if that sense of apartness could have been anything but a game, a game you really got into and played with your whole heart and soul, day and night. I suppose, some kind of Hide and Seek, only you were the only one hiding. I wasn't. I was right out in the open. Only you didn't see me.

We both called to each other. It took you a while to hear Me, but I always heard you and held you. You were always in My sight and always in My arms. You squirmed and played the game, for the sake of the game. And sometimes you did forget what or Whom you were seeking.

Sometimes you went after decoys.

Sometimes you shuffled along, not even seeking. You were seekless, knowing nothing to search for.

Of course, that is the truth — you have nothing to hunt for when all is right in front of you. But at the time, you thought there was nothing anywhere to even want, let alone go after.

So you shuffled along in life, hands in pockets, whistling a sad tune, not even looking for anything. Not content. By no means content. You were without hope so far as you knew. You see how misinformed a Human Being can be.

But now you know better. What you seek is right at hand. Start looking up and you will begin to see that all you have sought is already yours right in the palm of your hand, right at the tip of your nose, right in the center of your heart, right where the God of Love has always been.

No matter how far away you felt from Me, it was all fantasy. What seemed so real to you was the unreal. And now you are departing from the unreal and lapsing into Truth. Now, when you look up, you begin to see the lay of the land. You begin to see. And as soon as you see, you begin to know what you have known all along yet did not dare to behold. Behold Me now. I am before you.
