Very beautiful. I join with Margaret Weiner in thanking you for bringing it to our attention.

My friend who lives in Israel writes me that the common Israeli and Palistinian people, the ordinary everyday human beings, get along just fine, share hospitality, etc.

Yet I know people in this country who are certain one side is right, and the other wrong, and feel vehemently.

I have a psychologist friend who says that all arguments (and wars) arise because we take a position. When we take a position, we get locked in. So long as we take an inviolable position, we cannot budge. We cannot hear and we cannot listen.

May all men be brothers soon.
