MORE FROM OUR FRIEND IN NEPAL

Dear Gloria ji, Namaste.

Thank you so much for your lovely email again. Yes, i received the Heaven letters again ; it's like sun shine again, a rain over the field , a song in desert....

We have a special program ( Peace Prayer - Peace Assembly ) in the Journey of Peace beyond religion, caste, creed, sect and sex or political prejudiceness organized by " Shanti Sandesh Yatra Pariwar" at Shanti Sewa Ashram (SSA), Koteshwar on May 26th. i'm very hopeful that the attendance of the Leading national /international Peace Seekers like - Dr. Anoja Guruma , Sai Bahini , Dr. Audrey Kitgawa ( Founder of Light of Awareness-Spiritual Family ,USA) Dr. Lam ( Vietnami Monk) from Lumbini Dham,Dr. Mrigendra Raj Pandey and Ani Chhoying Dolma ( Buddhist Nun, a famous spiritual singer ) etc will make a very significant impression to all. In fact, people are looking forward to have prayers rather than slogans ; prayers give them stillness and makes them positive , prayers join the hearts but slogans break the relationship.

Pls pass on my Namaste to all of your good friends whom we don't know but feel very deeply, what a great gift !!!

Love+Peace+Service

More about C.M. Yogi's Ashram and Calls for Peace

This is from on the teachers at C.M. Yogi's school:

As I was there in the Shanti Sewa Ashram on May 26th 2006 in Koteshwor, Kathmandu as one of the members participated there among the group of nearly 300. I wish to go in such a Satsang programme but it happens something unwanted to me and miss out both the work what I have to do and the place where I have to be. I reached there behind the usual time. However, I approached a little late; I took a brief report about what has gone already. I discovered the participants finding it so pleasing, so peaceful, so prosperous and productive too.

Today's programme is entitled as Shanti Prarthana- Shanti Shabha has held as a distinct part of Satsang with the people of various professions, vocations, fields, creeds, castes, sects and so on. This has made me to realize that this Ashram has been really helpful to bind the people into a one garland whatever the caste they are of, whatever the religion they follow, whatever the creed they are engaged in and whatever and however they lead their life.

It was probably possible due to the due dedication, sincere contribution by the Ashram; its founder Dr. Chintamani Yogi. And the role of the participants whom come in Ashram is also striking. What I think about this Ashram is as a centre of about nearly 300 people where they forget the pain that they have endured through their life. It has felt to be a common assembly to feel peace, to realize the sense of human service and to somehow to draw closer themselves upon with God. Some of them have expressed their glaring gladness in a very brief talk with me.

I talked to myself frankly concerning the strength that this Ashram is getting day by day is its accomplishment principally owing to selfless service. As far as the sphere of specialty of today's programme, it was purely for the purpose of prayer for global peace. It was especially held on the evocation of Shanti Sandesh Yatra Pariwar. The guest speakers Dr. Anoja Guruma, Mrs. Vrihaspati Shrestha (Sai Bahini), Aani Chhoing Dolma, Dr. Audrey Kitgawa (Founder of Spiritual Family- USA) Mohamaad Ashraf (Secretary of Nepal Jame Masque Kathmandu) and Dr. Lam (Vietnami Monk) have highlighted on the diverse dimensions of peace and the essentiality of restoration of peace in Nepal and throughout the World.

All the participants were trying to realize the presence of peace in their mind, soul and body. At the meantime, there were the pacifying Bhajans, Kritans and stimulating songs for the tranquility and harmony. It had added further liveliness to the programme. Similarly, Mr. Kiran Thapa and Mrs. Ambika K.C. have spoken on the various activities of the Ashram.

At the conclusive section of the programme, the founder of the Ashram and co-coordinator of Shanti Sandesh Yatra Pariwar Dr. Chintamani Yogi had stressed on the significance of Nepali culture and tradition and its festivals and celebrations to be preserved as an identity of the nation. If our identity misses out, no doubt, we will be without our identity. This moment will be intolerant to every Nepali, where there would be identity crisis to be deeply felt. It means we would have the problem regarding who we are. He has admitted all to be vigilant towards the critical crisis that we are facing at after the declaration of the latest House of Representative.

Honest, you don't want to know that, John. Better stay focused in Love......

John is responding to the writer's heart, and that is important.

Nepal just came out of a military rule, curfews etc. No government I know of
is without difficulties. Yet this is a small spiritual country that is
making great gains. To have no one respond to that heartfelt letter would be
remiss, it seems to me. John conveyed his interest and caring, and I wish
everyone would.

At the same time, I know exactly what you mean, dear Adrachin. God tells us
to stay away from the news and its negativity. Yet there is so much
positivity going on in Nepal, and the ashram and groups that C.M. Yogi has
started are a great part of it.

Whatever is going on with the House of Representatives has to be better than
when Nepal was under military rule and hearts were so dampened. Even if
there are things to protest, it seems to me that this is so much better than
not being allowed to protest!

With love and blessings,

Gloria

Dear my friends,

from a spiritual point of view Nepal is one of the chakras of the earth. The
people living there need all the help they can get to keep it up and running.
I have a lot of respect for them and often I am present there. In mind.

If you have time, give them some good thoughts.

Much Love and Light
