In Honor of the Within of us All

Within me, there are four
A poet, a philosopher, an old man and a youth
The first is a running brook carrying its melody to the sea
The second reveals the secret longings of the day and the silent whispers of the night
The third gives to the first the wisdom of seasons past
The fourth teaches the second how to laugh

In Honor of the Within of us All

Utterly beautiful, Michael.

Dear MM,

Your poetry is very unusual, although I've only read a few that had been published in braille, thus a poor judge.  Is there a name for this kind of writing, like Haiku or something?

Also, are they yours?  I haven't heard a name after them.  If they are, I sure do hope that you are saving them!  Lastly, I'd like to use the one following this message, can you give me/us a name so that we might give you/him/her credit?

LPL, Love's Pink Light,
Joe

Hopefully you've received yesterdays email response sent but if not, yes everything I post here is "mine", in the sense that the writing came either from or through me...i don't always put my name, though a few postings tonight are followed by the copyright ensignia (I copied and pasted them from my Dad's and stepmom's and Jeshua's site LivingFromLove.com, which they have kindly given me some space to play)...if i ever post something of someone else's, I'll always follow it with a reference...as for the type of style, hmmm...this one was a style highly influenced by Khalil Gibran which allowed me to express much of my deepfilled joys and pains within and then others are automatic writing to the extent that i allow it be as so, otherwise it's my own intellect and feeling self playing and editing as I go along...blessings to you and to all, always, in all ways...michael:)
