When you go to the market you cannot get even a small handkerchief if you don’t pay a certain amount of money. Likewise you cannot attain Divine Grace unless you offer your love to God. God is also like a businessman. What sort of business is He engaged in? Not worldly business, purely spiritual. He receives your love and showers Grace on you. Surrender all your thoughts and worries to God and receive Bliss in return.

There is no question but that what we give God comes back to us greatly magnified. Heavenletters is surrounded now by Guardian Angels in physical bodies.
I am not so sure that Divine Grace is reserved for those who, from our eyes, have earned it more than others or deserve it more than others.
To my mind, if it is indeed Divine Grace, it’s God’s Grace, and He can give it wherever he chooses – OR maybe it’s when we choose to notice it.
Love and blessings,
Gloria

You're right Gloria. However like you said, "But when we notice it." In other words, "We've got to acknowledge and accept it." God's divine grace, (Love) is always being showered upon us, nevertheless there are those who deny It/Him/Her and therefore are ignorant to our union, and thus unable to "realize" His grace.

Joe

And how do we know what is going on for someone else? What appears to us on the outside may not be what is going on in the inside at all. And who says we have to notice it?!!!! God gave us free will, and free will is free will.
I don’t think that our service to God is on the level of our conscious will.
I have heard where God enlightens someone, even what we would call a reprobate, in one stroke. God can do anything.
I’m not sure that the intellect can digest that which is beyond the intellect.
Loving you,
Gloria

Very well said, Gloria. I remember a story about some
devotees of Sai Baba. A couple. They were in India and
sent their two young sons home to America for the
school year. The parents stayed in India with Sai
Baba, and relatives would pick up the two boys. On
their flight over the Indian Ocean their aircraft
crashed into the sea. The boys died. Distraught, the
parents lamented to Sai Baba why did they have to die?
What did they ever do wrong?
Sai Baba said to them that they did not understand
what really happened on a spiritual level. Those two
boys were very spiritual and powerful holy men in a
very ancient past life. According to their beliefs in
that former life, they must die in water in order to
pass into the heavenly realms. They died without
water. They came back at this time specifically to
accomplish that task. They died in the Indian Ocean
and thus their karma was complete and they now
transcended the need for any more lives on the
physical plane. It was a very good thing for them
although their parents saw it differently because of
their loss and grief, and their limited vision.
It's all a Dance,
Robert
