How to Take Care of All That You Have to Do
You have been preoccupied lately. Your thoughts are going all over the place at the same time. You are not even quite aware of what preoccupies you. It’s just that your thoughts are jumping around. Whenever your thoughts are scattered, look up and come back to thoughts of Me. Remember Me. Remember Me quietly. It is easier to think of Me than to pick up the phone. Think of Me, and that way you will be able to focus better on what is at hand to focus on.
You will find it is easier to sit down and write checks and make those phone calls you have been putting off or study those books you have had a hard time opening.
It is not spring yet that you can say you have spring fever.
Don’t for one minute think that I don’t ever want you to drift off. I don’t mind at all. I mention this because there are details in life that have to be taken care of, and you have to take care of them. Absolutely, take those moments of reverie and let your heart and mind go where they will. It’s just that there are times to focus, whether you feel like it or not. Get to those things, and then you can be done with them.
Take frequent breaks. Drink water, and remember Me. It’s easy to think of Me, isn’t it? Wouldn’t you like to think of Me? Wouldn’t you like Me at your side while you study or fill out a form? Bring Me in. I’m ready and available. I am already at your side. Just remember that, beloveds. Remember that.
I am not only available for the lovely moments when We fly to greater realms. I am available always for details as well. I will help you with them. In the world, details have to be taken care of. Whatever role you play in life, all roles require some attention to details. Take care of them while they are small. When you delay taking care of details, you are giving too much energy to them, and the details drag you down. Be done with them, and then you can go on your merry way.
Depending upon your proclivities, you may want to take care of the details before you go out to pick the flowers. And yet, for you it’s possible that picking the flowers first works well for you, and you come back in better ready to tackle the pesky details with a pretty vase of flowers before you.
Beloveds, do what you have to do to keep up with the routine details. Finish them off.
Perhaps you like to do things perfectly, and your desire for perfection holds you back. Let Me then give you permission to accomplish routine tasks imperfectly. Do them. The perfection doesn’t matter. The getting done matters. If you spilled some coffee on your sealed stamped envelope, and you are going to put off finding another envelope and stamp, send the stained one anyway. That will be good for you. It will break a boundary. There are some things you don’t want to care about so much. You don’t want to care about them more than what needs to be done.
Have no more backlog. Take care of details in a trice, and put them behind you. So now, look up at Me, smile, and take care of the details that you may not like to do and you have let hang over you. We will complete them in no time.
