Tina to God:

Dear God, I just now got to read April 6 and 7 Heavenletters. Ginger's transition out of the physical has gotten Gloria to open the doors wider and let more truth come flying in.

I appreciate very much being saturated with the truth in an area that is so hard to release: attachment. My mind and heart are soaking it up big time. All the attention to this topic is like a springtime feasting for my heart and mind. God, you are plowing up our old ways of thinking and planting the seeds for new growth.

All the Heavenreaders are gardeners of the spirit.

I am bursting with excitement about the effect this will have on our growth. It is truly glorious! Love to all.

God to Tina:

Plowing up old ways of thinking. Planting the seeds for new growth. Gardeners of the spirit. Very good. Yes, Tina.

Gloria to God:

Dear God, last week Tina sent me some of her excellent journal. She made a reference to something You said in the March 28 Heavenletter. Among other things, she said: "God, you spoke of the importance of focus. You said, 'Focus without an object is not focus.'"

Here's the passage:

"What is behind the material is important. Energy on earth will manifest into the physical. I do not need a physical church as a tribute to Me. What matters is the energy that made it. The chapel was the focus for that energy. It was made of light, not bricks, you understand. The focus has to go somewhere. Focus without an object is not focus. In this case, the love for Me was focused in a chapel. You could say that the chapel is love for Me frozen into a building of worship."

Dear God, would you explain that more?

God:

You do not have to find a focus. Love itself finds a focus. Love wants to express itself. Focus isn't necessarily better than unfocus. It's another phase of love, that's all. Love unfocused is love looking around. It's good.

The nun in Lilies of the Field was one-pointed in serving Me. Getting a chapel built was her way. Even if she did not have her focus, if she lived in a cell and did not have contact with the world, if she didn't have anything to desire but Me, the strength of My love through her would nevertheless manifest. Perhaps in other hearts. Perhaps in yours.

Wherever it landed, it would have manifested. Perhaps in kindness. In teaching. In a gift. In a donation. Perhaps in a building.

The energy of love will always manifest. It is the energy that matters. It is the energy that becomes matter.

The fact that the nun in the story focused her love for Me on getting a building built doesn't make her love greater than if her focus had been less specific. The fact that the building got built is a testament to love and the power of love. That same love can be revealed in other ways, even more subtle ways that you might not observe.

Love is. There is no taking away from it.

The other day I said to give My love to the universe. A broad focus is nevertheless a focus.

If you feel surges of love, if you feel a need to give love even when you have no husband or children or any avenue to strew it on, and if giving to the universe is too broad a context for you, then simply give My love back to Me. I will find a place for it.

The chapel was a manifestation of love, but only a manifestation, a manifestation of My love, offered and returned to Me.

A rose is a manifestation of My love. How beautiful is a rose. Ah, how much more beautiful is the love that made it.

Gloria to God:

Thank You, dear God.

On another subject, I know that Heavenletters is from You, God, and that it brings me and many others closer to You. I know that in questions people ask here, they are asking You for advice and insight. But they are asking You through Heavenletters.

Is it better that they ask You directly themselves? I sometimes wonder: Is the point of Heavenletters to make people independent of Heavenletters?

God:

No. Both. Ask Me themselves and read Heavenletters.

The point of Heavenletters is to create a continuum of love on the Internet. Heavenletters helps many individuals, but it is not solely for the individual. An individual's question shared is more than the sum of its parts. An individual's question shared marshals My strength for all.

Heavenletters is like a Maypole; come close to it, and keep coming close to it. Not one at a time, but together.

You wouldn't even ask this except that some people who choose not to subscribe tell you they already have God themselves and have no need of Me from another avenue. That is never the whole story, and you already sense that.

Each one of you has Me yourself, and now you share Me. Sharing Me helps you feel the Oneness of All. Although I speak deeply to each individual who asks, I also speak to the Oneness of all, and I disseminate My love throughout the universe sparked by one individual for the love of all.

Although the Internet is a vehicle, it is more than just another vehicle. True, it is a network, but when I use it, it becomes a network of My love that gives you an idea of how My love goes everywhere at once.

Everyone does not pick up My message at the same time, but they receive My message simultaneously as it is written.

They receive it again as it is sent out.

They receive it as it reaches their computer.

They receive it again as the stored message is waiting for their eyes.

Then, of course, the message actually appears on the screen as each reads My love there.

My messages are addressed, earmarked, and designed to enter each heart.

Whoever reads Heaven empowers every other reader.

Heavenletters is like your magnolia tree, Gloria. Each blossom is complete and beautiful on its own, and each blossom also knows it belongs to the tree.

I am the Tree. The flowers get to know they are connected to Me.

Do you understand what I am saying? Heavenletters is more than a Dear Abby column in the newspaper. It is more than a Dear Abby column appearing on Internet. It is more than email. It is more than the questions and it is more than the answers. It is I Who speaks here. You log onto God here. Each person logs on themselves. No one does it for them.

Rely on God, not others. And here is God handed to you through the Internet. I say, "Have Me."

When someone has learned to receive their own messages from Me, through the Heavenletter workshops, or through whatever avenue opens their ears and hearts, still I say, "Have Me, shared with all the other beating hearts."

I am a personal God. I am a universal God. But I am not a private God. Do not go into a closet with Me. I belong to you, but not to you alone, not to you by yourself. Do not sequester Me. Brandish Me. Receive Me everywhere.

Julie to Heavenletters:

Whoa! What a learning yesterday was! God was very clear about judgment. The example of the husband was beautiful.

I might like to think I am non-judgmental, but I judge a thousand times a day. Today I will practice being neutral and observing. Thanks.

John to Heavenletters:

I found God's answer April 7 to be right on the mark! Thanks.
