God Does Not Play Hide-and-Seek
You have often wondered where you belong. Not here, not there, you have thought. Wherever you may be, whatever you have been thinking and whatever you have been doing, no matter, you belong with Me. It's as simple as that. Be at Home with Me. I make room for you. A spot is reserved for you. This is always so, and it is inevitable that you come. The space you occupy is here with Me.
I really don't play hide-and-seek with you. I seek you, but I do not hide. Your eyesight is good. All you have to do is close your eyes a minute and think: "God." You will soon get lost in My love which is just another way to say you will be found in My Love. That's just it. You can never be lost. Deep in My love, you may be feeling bewildered, even more bewildered than ever before, but that's because boundaries are breaking. You haven't gotten your Heaven legs yet, as it were. All the boundaries were flimsy anyway. Our connection is the strongest thing on Earth. The blessings themselves cannot be broken. They cannot be shaken. You may think so, of course. But there is no broken wiring when it comes to you and it comes to me and Our connection.
What We have together is more precious than diamonds, more precious than gold, more precious than fame and acclaim, more precious than a Ph.D., more precious than winning the lottery, more precious than any worldly success dreamed of or not dreamed of.
We have a connection that, despite any maneuverings, cannot be broken. There is no weak link in this connection. Of course, you may not know how to dial, yet that does not change the viability of the connection. Because you may not hear the telephone ring doesn't mean the phone isn't ringing.
You may feel that I am a stranger. You are no stranger to Me. You may feel estranged from Me. You are familiar with estrangement in the world. You may feel more comfortable with familiarity than you do with unfamiliarity. You may say you really want to be a movie star, for instance, and yet the opportunity also scares you, and you get out of the screen test rather than flub it.
The irony is that I give no tests. I hired you for a major role from the first moment I thought of you. And you are on the screen. You convince yourself that you are not on the screen, or that the screen is hidden from My view. Of course, you are never hidden from My view. My vision is such that I see right into your heart no matter where you think you are or who you are and no matter what you think of Me. You can think that I'm a rascal. You can think I am a fly-by-night God. You can think anything you want, and, still, what you think has nothing to do with Our relationship. I am not influenced by all the matters that influence you.
I see your soul, and I see it bared, and I see it is good. I see you shining brightly, and I also see Myself reflected in your eyes. And if you had no eyes, I would see Myself just the same. If you were mute and could not speak, still We would speak. If you know not one word, still We would have a great intimacy of understanding.
Our relationship does not depend upon any aspect of the physical world. It does not even depend upon your will. Willingly or not, you come to Me. It is My Will, and My Will is good enough for the two of Us, as if there were two of us instead of One.
