Be True to Love

God said:

Do not make little of My love for you. Do not say that the love I give you is immaterial. Do not say it is not enough. Do not say, “God’s love is well and good, but I need other things more.” Do not say, “God has denied me wealth,” for I have denied you nothing.

Do not say that I am not reliable nor untrustworthy. Do not say that I have let you down. Do not say that My love is very nice, but what does it get you? Do not speak of My love as being a conveyance for you to other things you want more. Do not say that I am a mere step in your journey. Beloveds, I am Your Journey.

Do you really think that if you do not have money or a good wife or good health and reputation and esteem in the world that I am good for nothing? I am good for you. I am good enough for you. I am all the Good there is.

Do you really think I am up here, pulling the carpet out from under you more than I am paving your way? Do you think I go eeny meeny miney mo and dispense boons or take them away? Do you really think I am so petty?

Do you think I spurn you and favor others?

Do you really think that life has to be the way you want in order for Me to love you or you to love Me? Do you really think that We are bargainers? Do you really need money from Me in advance? Do you think that My signature is not worth the paper it is printed on?

Do you think that the Sun, Moon, and Stars are not collateral enough? Do you think that the earth under your feet and the sky above are not substantial? Do you really think that My credit is not good? If you do think I am not worth My word, if you are tentative with Me, if you feel I must give the goods first before you can trust, then you have yet to learn trust.

It is better to have trust than not to have trust.

Do you obligate Me to you? Do you say that I must do this and that in order for you to love Me? Do you not know that you love Me for your sake, and not for Mine? I Who am love do not require yours. You require yours. And the world needs yours so that it can feel good about itself.

Do you think that you and I have some kind of business contract? Do you think We have a trade agreement? Do you think We are business men or women? If We are in business, We are in the business of love, and love is not bought and sold. Love is given and received on its own terms, and its only term is love.

Allow yourself to return to the state of Oneness. Be One with Me, as I am One with you. Come, sit on the same side of the table with Me. We are partners of love. We are engaged in love. Love is Our troth, and trust is the ring We exchange.

Oh, beloveds, what would you trade for Our love? If you would trade anything for Our love, then you accept ten cents on the dollar, you give gold away for tin, you say a nickel is worth more than dime.

Be true to love, to the love in My heart, and to the love in yours. The treasures of the world are fleeting. My love is not. The world is not always in service to you, but I am. I AM.
